Draft. <font color=red>Kudos to the Carlos O’Kelly’s in Ft. Wayne for supporting a local beer!</font> Color is yellow, with just a little bit of haze. A big citrusy smell that I couldn't separate from the slice of lemon on the glass, but I catch lemon and maybe a pineapple note. Malt is very prominent with a kind of peppery spiciness from the hops. A slight yeastiness as it warms up. Actually a tad heavy for a “summer” beer, but zesty and refreshing.

Draft at Legends - Notre Dame. Slightly hazy deep amber pour with a well-retained 1" white head. Nice lacing as it went down. Some citrus hops, yeast, and sweet malts in the aroma. Caramel, some citrus, and bready malt were the bulk of the flavor. Brew became more bitter as it warmed, and there was a bready/bitter finish.

There was a small white head with fine-small bubbles when this brew arrived at the table. There was not much aroma to this particular brew and the body was yellow. It had good lacing on the sides of my glass. The taste was smooth with a slight bitterness observed.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2004 This brew poured a very small head of fine to medium sized white colored fully diminished bubbles that strange;y enough left a good lacing. The body was a uncarbonated hazy dark orange yellow color. It had a nice yeasty malty aroma. It had a mild hoppy initial taste that smoothened in it finish. It had flavors of malt bread and yeast. The 2004 sampling was better than the 2003.
