12oz. Bottle (at 10%ABV per the Bottle): Aroma of hops, pine, and slight caramel malt. Poured copper/amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, beige head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, malt, light caramel, pine, resin, slight alcohol, and some rye bread. Medium body. Slightly sticky texture. Average carbonation. Hop, pine, resin, and malt finish is light to medium bitter, lightly sweet, and a tad dry. 10%ABV is well hidden throughout even if a bit noticeable.

Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a thin, but dense, head and aromas of sweet caramel and toffee and pineapple and faint citrus. Flavor is much sweeter and darker than I would have guessed. It has a brown sugar and toffee maltiness which goes nicely with the pineapple fruitiness of the hops. The alcohol kicks a bit and gives some warmth and then a tingly hops and alcohol finish takes over. That said, the hops are well underdone for my tastes in something that is marketed as an IIPA.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub in a pub glass. The beer pours a deep yellow to amber color. A nose of citrusy Cascade and Columbus hops come through in the nose. The palate brings hops up front, with a nice even and smooth bitterness; malt in the center, and a medium-sweet finish. A nicely done double IPA.

Bomber thanks to Nathan! Poured clear, deeper reddish-orange with a fine cap of beige head when agitated. The aroma picked up soured, vinegary fruits and caramel with an interesting array of hoppage (floral notes primarily).. smelled off. The flavor confirmed that it was sour and not in that good of shape (it’s not an old bottle).. some caramel and fruity notes at the core.. sour edges. Heavier-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. sour and unpleasant.

YeHA 2008: Coppery hue with a small frothy beige head and spotty lace. The aroma had notes of resiny hops, catty, minty, caramel, and herbal esters. The taste is twangy and minty with hints of bready and crystal malts. A hint of rye and classic bittering hops. The mouth feel is dry and chalky and does little to enhance the flavor. Interesting for sure and likely starting to go down hill but still drinkable.

Bottle in trade from miketd. Thanks dude!
Pours a rich amber to brown color with a lieght beige short lived head. Smell is very light on the hops with a big fruity and sweet smell. Taste is fruity, creamy and mild with light alcohol. Not very IPA or DIPA like, I thought, but not bad at all.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with miketd. Poured a deeper and muddy amber color (almost brown) with a very small sized off white head. Aromas of floral, earhty, citrus rinds, and toasted caramel. Tastes of citrus, pine, earthy, and some caramel. Softer body with the alcohol content well hidden. More sweet than bitter.

Bottle pours very dark red. Almost black in color. Has a off white head that fades quickly. Aroma has very subtle fruit smells, very small hop presence, and some alcohol. Has a medium light body that feels nice on the palate. Flavor is a smooth bold hop taste. Its not grass or pine directly. Its really more fruity. The fruits are dark fruits and has some pine mixed in. There is a sweet caramel finish with some alcohol mixed in on the tongue. Overall I’m impressed. The aroma could be more potent, but the flavors are unique and unexpected for this style which is nice. And it has a smooth finish. I like it. Would recommend to try.
