Bottle courtesy of miketd. Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells of rich pumpkin pie spice, pumpkin, caramel, some earthy hints. Tastes spicy and earthy with a pumpkin and spice character.

Enjoyed it at Oktoberfest in Berea. Darker than expected but strong pumpkin with spice aroma without overpowering "pumpkin" taste on the tongue. Finishes cleaner than expected without lingering pumpkin aftertaste. I am not a fan of pumpkin beers, but this one is quite good.

Enjoyed on-tap at the brewpub. Dark with some white head. A cinammon story, very spicey, even astringency in mouthfeel. But common for a pumpkin style.Average mouthfeel, wouldn’t creaminess be lovely.

Hit the nail this year. Excellent aroma, should be made into a candle... Appearance nice and dark copper, yet cloudy, but expected with spiced ales. Flavor was most excellent, great palate. Initial tasting, atsted great pumpkin and spice start, went to a nice roasted flavor, like the crust of the pie, then finished with a light creamy finish. Best Pumpkin ale by far.

Bottle from The Brew Keeper. Poured daek brown color with an average off-white frothy head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid nutmeg pumpkin aroma. Moderate body with a smooth texture. Medium to heavy spicy sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid seasonal beer.

Interesting. Great looking dark copper color. Aroma seems to have a hint of funk, with more of a pumpkin seed flavor than pumpkin meat. Bone dry.

This is the most interesting pumpkin beer I have ever tried. Aroma is of spiced pumpkin, caramel, and a touch of barnyard funk. Flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, and lambic beer.

UPDATED: DEC 3, 2007 Had on nitro at the pub. Lots of pumpkin on the nose, but I really don’t like pumpkin. It is a very pretty beer with a rich creamy head (almost like a orange brown Guiness). Flavor had lots of vegetable tones with the mild bitterness it has. Long pumpkin flavored finish. I think this beer is better than my score reflects because it is everything a pumpkin beer should be; but like I said before, I really don’t like pumpkin.
