This poured a dark brown color with basically no head. Aroma was very bready and sweet with hints of berries and darker fruits. Flavor is straight up ceral. Very grainy and sweet with some fruit accents in there as well. Like previously said, this taste unlike almost anything ive ever had before, and not quite sure if thats good or bad in this case.

Sample from 12oz bottle at the Brewkeeper tasting at Blacklick Wine and Spirits on 10/9/08. Considered by the brewer to be a "triple bock" and admittedly, an "accident". Pours a dark brown with no head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel and green olives. This beer is incredibly sweet. Sweeter than any lambic, barleywine or honey ale I’ve ever had. In fact, I think I’m now diabetic. Tastes of sugar (duh!), molasses, tobacco, and toffee. Slightly roasty on the back end, which was welcome amongst the sweetness. I can see why Mark called this one an accident, but it’s by no means a mistake. Interesting "outside the box" brew with a lot of potential.
