22 oz bottle - Dark red/black color with medium sized light tan head. Aroma is overwhelmed with artificial bananna notes (smells like bananna runts), dark caramel, touch of chocolate. Flavor has lots of bananna, caramel, touch of raisens and oak. Finish is fairly sweet. I guess I’m the minority here, but I really think this is pretty underwhelming. It is overwhelmingly estery and not very clean.

Draft sample at Brew Keeper. Poured clear reddish brown color with an averaqge creamy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Heavy complex tart fuirt, bubble gum and alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky smooth texture. Medium to heavy balanced flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet and small alcohol burn finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer.

Pours a mahogany with a definite chill haze and a lasting head. Very malty, nice dark fruits from the malts and Belgian yeast. A little bit of heat from the alcohol. The beer is a little sticky from all the malt. Excellent stab at the style.

On tap at cats eye during ohio brew week. This was one i was waiting to try during oho brew week. Aroma was of a lot of dark fruits and yeast. There was also some spice to this one. Flavor was very nice also. Very flavorful and easy to drink for how strong it was. Very nice beer.

22oz bottle. Aroma: Really fruity with strong aromas of banana, bubblegum, and clove. Yeasty, bready, and caramel. Some slight pepper and alcohol notes come forward as it warms. Appearance: Dark brown and murky with some coppery highlights. Off-white head was full and creamy with good retention. Good lacing. Flavor: Really sweet upfront with notes of tobacco, caramel, and bread dough. Some banana, spice, and bubblegum into the finish. It dries up a bit into the finish, but still a little too sweet. Some alcohol flavors into the finish, as well. Palate: Medium-full bodied. Medium-high carbonation. Significant alcohol warming in back of mouth and in chest. Overall: An impressive beer from a brewery that hadn’t impressed me. If it was attenuated a bit more, it would be even better. A bit too sweet. I’ll definitely buy this again, though.

Bomber shared by Odeed; Nose of vanilla oakiness, light spiciness, and an off vegtal note; hazy brown with a small tan head; flavor was lightly bitter, vanilla, wood, dark fruit, but finished with the odd vegtal note that made it disappointing.

Pours brown with a thin off white head. Smells of sweet fruit, cloves, spices, touches of sugar and molasses. Tastes of fruit, lots of spice, some caramel, sweet honey. Great beer!

22oz bottle. thanks to jeremy for a taste of this....poured a dark plum brown with a thin wispy off-white head....aroma of fresh dark fruit, bananas, and cloves. it smelled pretty young next to MOAB if that’s possible....flavors of bananas, clove, sweet caramel malt. this didn’t really remind me of an abt/quad but more of a strong dark wheat beer. one positive note is that is really had a smooth, full mouthfeel....glad to try this one.
