COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our harvest ale, brewed with over 100 pounds of locally grown, heirloom varietal Cinderella pumpkins. The pumpkins are roasted, then pureed and added to the mash for sugar and color contribution. We add pumpkin pie spices during the last part of boil in the kettle. Very light, pumpkin pie-like flavor can be found in this orange hued brew.

On draft at the brewery. Pours a cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma of allspice and cloves. Pumpkin pie spices dominate the flavor.

On tap 5 oz. sample at Mad Fox Brewing Company restaurant in Falls Church, VA. Lightly hazy, nearly clear amber with off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of pumpkin, herbal hops, caramel, bread and spice. Taste of caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon, spice, bread, fruit, pumpkin and light hops. Nice caramel coloring with little head. Excellent mix of pumpkin spices that doesn’t overpower the beer like a lot of other pumpkin brews seem to do. Well done

Draft. Poured a hazy orange with a super thin white head. Not a good example of a pumpkin beer. The pie spices totally overwhelmed the other flavors, especially since it was a thin beer. Needed to highlight the pumpkin richness more. Cloyingly sweet.
