Bottle from Sugaya. Very fruity nose, floral, with light herbal notes. Pretty reddish/amber color, off-white head, and some lace. Berries, strawberries, light citrus, and a bit tart. Finish is light and somewhat dry. Light body. Interesting and tasty. I don’t think the hibiscus really adds much.

Bottle. Clear pale red with a large pink-tinged head that lasts well. Aroma of hibiscus flowers, cranberries, lemon, some grassy herbs. Dryish with crackers, flowers, hints of tartish berries. Finish is dry with fairly low bitterness. Herbal and floral notes hang around awhile. Stylish and likeable drop.

On draught at Dave’s Bellport Cold Beer and Soda’s table at the North Fork Craft Beer Festival at Peconic Bay Vineyard. Pours red with a brilliant pink head. Pleasant floral aroma with citrus notes as well. I really don’t pick up the strawberry in the nose. The flavor is floral and citrus with perhaps just a bit of strawberry showing through. Light-medium bodied.

Had no clue what to expect from this one. It’s interesting. I was surprised by the reddish pour. The flavor is a nice fruity taste -- slightly sweet, and not in your face. Overall, surprisingly enjoyable.
