Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, apricot and light horseblanket with a crisp dry tart lingering apricot finish.

(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small off-white head. Aroma of apricot, light butter, dough, some wet leather, and horse blanket. Flavor of apricot, dough, some butter, oak, and brett.

On draft at Tap 25. I wanted this to be really good, especially considering the high ratings it got before me, but I just can’t do it. It wasn’t bad per se, but just a bit off. It pours yellow/gold with an off white head. The aroma has some strong apricot, but not enough acid. Mild leather and even milder brett funk. Unfortunately, the barrel influence comes across very buttery. The flavor is about the same. Pleasantly fruity with apricots and very mild tartness with a touch of brett leather and funk. LIght bodied and a bit sweet without a real acidic punch. No acetic acid which is good, but this is very timid.

Draft at the Bistro West Coast Barrel Aged Beer Festival. Pours light orange gold with no head. Aroma is mild light pitted fruit with sour. Med body. Mild sour apricot flavor for finish. Nice.

Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Apricot aroma with tart/sour notes. Sour and light acetic flavor with apricots. Medium bodied. Sour and apricot linger with light acetic notes. Very nice.
