May 9, 2007 Bottle from Total Wine. Wow, this was an outstanding Double IPA. Poured a copper color with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, some citrus as well. Taste was slightly bitter, citrus fruits and malts. Alcohol was non existent. This will get you drunk.

May 4, 2007 Updated: Aug 5, 2007Bottle. Ahhh finally a decent 2IPA. Been a while since I’ve found a nice hop-bomb that was done properly. This is a chinook and cascade heavy beer that is dry as sandpaper but fullbodied enough to make that okay. Decent looking too, clear and orange. Lots of smiles while drinking this one.

May 3, 2007 Bottle in trade from Jimbowood. Thanks Jimbo. Pours a cloudy dark copper color with a small lasting off white head. Aroma is of citrus hops with a bit of sweet malt. The flavor is much of the same with the citrus hops balanced nicely with the sweet malts. The bitterness in the aftertaste is long lasting. The 8.6% is fairly well hidden. Enjoyable.

Apr 29, 2007 Bottle in trade with padrefan98. Mostly clear copper color with thick off-white head. Decent mild grapefruit aroma with some biscuity notes. Not real hoppy for a DIPA, but the grapefruit rind tastes that are there are nice. Just a decent DIPA, but if the aromas and flavors that are there were intensified, it’d be a damn good brew.

Apr 23, 2007 Good, caramel malty flavor. Kinda fruity. Watch out, the alcohol content will really sneak up on you.

Apr 23, 2007 Cloudy orangey red, thin beige head. Big hop aroma - floral citrus and earthy pine. kind of perfumy. Citrus hops dominates the flavor, with a sticky, resiny finish. Kind of hop dominated, but there are hints of caramelly malt, too.

Apr 21, 2007 Poured a copper color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of lemon, floral hops, some tea, with pine, citrus, and a bit of toffee as well. Taste was slightly bitter, grapefruit, citrus fruits, caramel malts. Alcohol was fairly well hidden.

Apr 19, 2007 Fairly heady hop aroma is mostly grapefruit, but is not devoid of piney notes. There is also a good dose of sweet malt beneath, but citrus/grapefruit accented hops are the main attraction. The body is a darker bruised orange color and holds a fairly lasting, compact white head. Very citrus/grapefruit and malt accented. The almost sweet citrus notes meld into the malt component very nicely. Goes bitter and stays that way faqr into the aftertaste. I would prefer a little less bitterness, but this is a pretty nice brew on the whole.
