3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Deep orange colour, off white head. This is a malt-heavy IIPA, with a sweeter profile, still with an abundance of hops, ending with an aspirin-like bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a bottle. Deep cloudy amber colour, lasting small off white head, big malty aroma with hints of fruit. Sharp fruit and malty flavours with a warming lingering aftertaste. It is definitely for those that like a big robust flavour.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty tasty, it did not have as much of a hops punch that I was expecting. Was a tad bit to malt forward for my taste. The stone fruit notes were nice though.

3.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle pour a deep thick copper, nice tan head, great lacing. Faint aroma belies the fantastic full flavors - hop-forward, a bitter punch complemented by floral sweetness and strong sweet/bready malt back. Great balance, mouthfeel is almost sticky with hop resin. Substantial gravity is well concealed. Great DIPA!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to glass. Pours a murky deep amber orangish color with a creamy tan head. Aroma is faint citrus. Flavor is moderately biter, but without many other hoppy characteristics. Bitterness lingers in the finish. Ok imperial. Nothing special.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This pours as a amber with an orange hue to it. it is a bit cloudy. The head is actually kind of peach in color. It actually has a bit of a caramel smell mixed with the citrus. There are apricot flavors that dominate the flavor with other hops and malts. It is not as bitter as must brews in this category.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From a 355ml bottle on 1/1/2014. Pours a murky dark orange with a small head. The aroma is primarily fruity hops. Flavour wise, there’s lots of sweet caramel malt, and sweet and tart fruit (mandarin, lemon, orange, pineapple). There is a firm bitterness at the back, but little of the pine and resin that features in so many US IPAs. This is not a typical imperial/double - it’s quite restrained, even if it’s strength doesn’t surprise. Not quite top flight but very pleasant drinking.
