3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Market of Choice, Eugene. Pours a clear golden orange, good amount of off-white head. Aroma is slightly resinous, and sweet, with a hint of warming. Body is almost creamy, lots of maltiness, very rich for the style. Finish is grassy, floral and sweet, surprising lack of bitterness for an IIPA. For me, I like it, but I can understand the somewhat low ratings here.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy pale orange color with a fizzy head that fades quickly. Aroma is faint and surprisingly malty. Faint citrus, some toast, some floral hops. Taste is a little better but than the aroma. Thick, juicy orange and grapefruit hops with lots of malt to back it up. Hops are a tad stale but not too bad. Overall, an average DIPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured a cloudy dark amber with a little white head, Nice carbonation and a lot of sediment floating around, nice lacing also. Aroma of fruit and caramel combined with some malts. Taste is mostly fruits and malts, the alcohol is also quite noticeable not that hoppy; mostly sweet but it does has a tart aftertaste. Drinkable and nice but not great.

On draft while watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit, what a great Easter. Resin, caramel, toast, floral. Tasty beer, I would like more hop flavor and aroma.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear deep golden color, with a foamy egg shell colored head that displays a faint orange hue. Thick lacing nearly entirely covers the edges of the glass as the beer is consumed. Tart, but sweet nose. Akin to a meringue on a citrus pie. Definitely a lot of malt in the aroma with perfumy hops competing, but losing by a nose--pun intended. The mouthfeel is nice. Rich, full body that coats the palate. Malt bomb. Perhaps too much of a blend of the hops with the grain. I would prefer the hops to express themselves a little more, but they are drowned out in the blend. Still not a bad beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a small creamy white head. Aroma is citrusy hops, sweet malts, wheat, grapefruit, and some toffee. Taste is fairly hoppy with a strong malt back bone, and tropical fruits (mainly grapefruit).

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle. Pours a murky orange with a touch of light tan head. Nose is piney with a good dose of malt. Lots of carbonation and some decent lacing. Tastes of pine, fruit and malt. Good balance. Very nice finish. Nice beer, though a little pricey--but at least MRB had the decency to offer this in a sixer.

Pours cloudy carmel color with a dollop of lacy cream foam. Sweet malt and citrus hop aroma, a little pine too. Big and bitter, chewy even, no hiding the strength here. Extended bitterness in the finish. Could use more aroma -no date on the bottle-, but otherwise, a real hop bomb.
