Pours cloudy carmel color with a dollop of lacy cream foam. Sweet malt and citrus hop aroma, a little pine too. Big and bitter, chewy even, no hiding the strength here. Extended bitterness in the finish. Could use more aroma -no date on the bottle-, but otherwise, a real hop bomb.

Sweet maltines, and floral hops on this one. Really dry and bitter. I have never had anything by this brewery but this is a really solid double ipa. I like my IPAís more hop forward but this ones isnít bad by any means. Theres a really awesome brown sugar taste that cuts through the hops. Good stuff.

Bottle cheers to Jackson. Forgot about this and found notes in my phone. I do remember it was quite sticky and resinous but not over the top which I donít mind - plenty of tropical and stewed fruits. Slightly oxidised but it wasnít fresh at all and it still held up rather well. Surprisingly decent

Fairly clear orange amber colour with thin white head. Slightly disappointingly faint aroma of grapefruit and pine sits atop crystal malts. Slick oily body. Taste is nicely balanced between assertive bitterness, sweet malt balance and a mild spiciness. Decent west coast IPA, but not a standout.

Interesting and drinkable. Quite hoppy but without being way bitter. Nice and good thickness and color there too.

12 ounce bottle porous a orange amber color with a ton of hop particles suspended in it. Pine and floral aromas. Moderate off-white head that dissipates quickly. Full-bodied medium carbonation. A bit on the malty side. A lot of residual sweetness.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy deep amber with a decent head. Flavor has more citrus and is overall more fruity than the aroma. Good balancing malt load. Nicely balanced and soft for style.

"earthy and sweet malt, juicy hops, but perhaps not quite enough. a decent IIPA, but nothing Iíd go out of my way for. pretty good fresh, otherwise skip."

Pours a cloudy orange colour with a white head. Aroma is malt, fruit and some wood with hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a hoppy finish. OK.

Pours a cloudy orange/amber with a smallish, but lasting head. Nice aromas of pine and fruit. Taste is full and well-balanced. Starts fruity and ends with some bitterness. Good beer.

An orange-amber pour into the glass has a foamy head that leaves spiderweb lacing. The nose is of citrus and sweet malt. Caramel in the mouth, along with orange and tangerine, light rind/peel notes, some stone fruits (peach?), and a woody earthen hop bitter to finish. The balance here is very good, hiding the ABV wonderfully (only noted at the very end of the finish). Itís smooth and very drinkable, with a definitive juicy palate, medium body and soft carbonation. Although the complexity and substantial mouthfeel lean toward a fuller body, the balance is so nice to provide a very easy quaff. Cheers!
