12 oz. The beer looks good!; with the syrup hop mixture looking almost as strong as the tongue whack of citrus&pine and the biscuit malt sweetness to help back it up. A nice and drinkable DIPA also less the $9. A new fav.

At just on cool and into a chalice. Misty deep amber with a good dose of sea monkeys caught in suspension. Head is up then falls short to settle a sheer island of white. Nose hints at figs, raisins, dried apricot, sticky bark, stewed rhubarb and sappy resin with a perfumed musk and poking tickle of higher alcohol - thick and tantalising. Slightly metallic edge to a flawless, smooth malt and hop offering. Rose petals dominate but there is a monster of a bitter bite that lasts on the palate with a ferocity that I’ve never seen. Big, spicy alcohol hit melds in well. Body is light but it has a good viscosity to it giving it great legs. Like being drowned in grandmothers rose garden. Light oatcake, light dusty malt, light honey smack cereal - everything fades under the hops. Really mouthfilling. Mandarin and the apricot of the nose, some of the stewed rhubarb and plenty of sappy resin form the palate to full. This is a melter of a IIPA. Really had me contemplating liking it whilst kicking me is the arse, saying ’damn straight you like it!’ (12fl.Oz, no date stamp, Int’l Beer Shop, Leederville)

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2015 Bottle from sunbury beer store. Nose is all hop. Bitter and appropriate for style. Crisp. Caught a hint of Apple at first and a bit of citrus rind too. Doesn't taste like a steelhead fish which may be good. Ok but not as good as other dipa like my favorite, hop slam or even the Great Lakes seasonals, which are easier to find. Hop is upfront and its dry but there's nothing else to celebrate.

355 ML bottle Dark orange amber color, half finger of off white head that falls to a collar. Good retention to head. Spotty lacing. Nose is mandarin, stewed stone fruits, get dark fruits as well. Nose is full of resin and oil. Taste is full of hops and resin. Stewed orange and stone fruits, stewed pine and grapefruit. Bigger malt body, more PNW than SoCal. Very aggressive though. Sticky and slightly sweet. Some booze shines through. Very chewy beer. Good lingering pine and stewed grapefruit finish. Solid beer.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has that malt and hop aroma. Smells real good Appearance- This beer is a golden yellow with a nice white head. Taste- Has a nice sweet flavor that finishes with a bitter end with a strong booze aftertaste (strong ABV. can easily be noticed) Tastes good. Palate- A medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Has a slick feel to it, very enjoyable Overall- I really liked this brew, if you can find it give it a whirl.
