3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. The beer looks good!; with the syrup hop mixture looking almost as strong as the tongue whack of citrus&pine and the biscuit malt sweetness to help back it up. A nice and drinkable DIPA also less the $9. A new fav.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355 ML bottle
Dark orange amber color, half finger of off white head that falls to a collar. Good retention to head. Spotty lacing.
Nose is mandarin, stewed stone fruits, get dark fruits as well. Nose is full of resin and oil.
Taste is full of hops and resin. Stewed orange and stone fruits, stewed pine and grapefruit. Bigger malt body, more PNW than SoCal. Very aggressive though. Sticky and slightly sweet. Some booze shines through.
Very chewy beer. Good lingering pine and stewed grapefruit finish. Solid beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from ABC. Pours a dark muddy brown with a small off-white head and some decent lacing. More malt than hops on the aroma; mostly toasted & nutty flavors. Some dark fruits come through on the hops, and maybe some light floral notes. Taste is pretty bitter all the way through with a short, somewhat dry finish. Not what I typically look for in an IPA, but a decent beer nonetheless. Acquire.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet maltines, and floral hops on this one. Really dry and bitter. I have never had anything by this brewery but this is a really solid double ipa. I like my IPA’s more hop forward but this ones isn’t bad by any means. Theres a really awesome brown sugar taste that cuts through the hops. Good stuff.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle cheers to Jackson. Forgot about this and found notes in my phone. I do remember it was quite sticky and resinous but not over the top which I don’t mind - plenty of tropical and stewed fruits. Slightly oxidised but it wasn’t fresh at all and it still held up rather well. Surprisingly decent

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fairly clear orange amber colour with thin white head. Slightly disappointingly faint aroma of grapefruit and pine sits atop crystal malts. Slick oily body. Taste is nicely balanced between assertive bitterness, sweet malt balance and a mild spiciness. Decent west coast IPA, but not a standout.
