3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange colour with good carbonation and minute suspended particles. A partial skim of white head. Fragrant mango, hibiscus and guava aromas with some gentle spiciness and orange zest - it smells good enough to drink (which is useful).
Fluffy and citrus driven at first and then this is joined by sherbet and tangy bitterness. My heart sank a little when I saw that it was a golden ale because so often this is a euphemism for ale that might as well be lager - fizzy, tasteless and designed for quaffing. This is endearingly fluffy, like a favourite niece and has plenty of character, also like a favourite niece.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with one finger of head. Aroma is floral and slightly citrus. Flavor is floral smooth and slightly sweet medium to light bodied. This is a much nicer beer than I expected. Very drinkable.

Tap: clear, golden with slight copper and poor head. Malty lift. Spice and fruity flavors dominate. Orange juice aromas. Slightly sweet, not bitter or sour. Malt dominates. Sweet fruit palate. Doughnut texture. Medium length.

I really like this palatable ale. Its light, which I like yet tastes like a quality micro brew and it was on sale at shop in kart so you can’t beat that!
