thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 21, 2008 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy typically carbonated yellow-orange colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was floral and malt hop. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops. An OK brew just nothing special. Missing the caramel flavor I enjoy in a Pale Ale.
wcampbell (437), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2008 Pretty dissapointing. Weak and not very flavorful. Tasted more like an amber than an APA. Caramel malty flavor with weak hops. Lightly watery finish. Not bitter or sweet. Kind of fizzy and peppery. Sparky27 (600), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Oct 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy honey color with one finger off-white head and spotty lacing. Nose is light floral hops, sweet malt and grass. Taste is pretty much the same – sweet malt dominates until finishing with a light hop aftertaste. Medium mouth feel. I guess the “extra” part meant they took extra care in removing the hop profile. Average. esjaygee (820), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Sep 28, 2008 Hazy cloudy amber with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, bread, caramel and hops. Taste of citrus, bread, caramel with a mild dry bitter finish. Lively carbonation for the style. Not Terribly flavorful. Snojerk321 (1021), San Diego, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Pale yellow with white thick foamy head. Apricot, peach, sweet, with some hops on the nose. Light prickle, mild sweetness, with some light hops on the finish. DoesB4Bros (2), Oak Harbor, Washington, USA does not count Sep 12, 2008 Light aroma and appearance. Flavor was not overpowering and finished nice with a slight hop aftertone. Overall, thought it was a decent beer that would be a nice drink on a hot summer day.
