Commercial Description:
A black opaque ale with rich creamy roasted malt character and a very mild hop complement. This beer may look a little scary but take a sip and you'll see why this Extra Stout can convert even lite beer drinkers to Stout lovers. A unique flavor profile that starts with a slight coffee flavor and finishes with a hint of roasty chocolate. Try a pint with a scoop of French Vanilla ice cream. This beer is a favorite as a compliment to any dessert or as a hearty breakfast drink.

Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours a creamy black. A good amount of maltiness on the nose. Malts follow to the tongue. Accents of bitter chocolates very pleasant. A medium body mouthfeel. A good little stout!

Pours black, brownish tan head. Aroma is malty, plenty of grains, grilled. Taste grilled, nice coffee and chocolate notes. Nice torrefied aftertaste, little hoppy finish, bitter chocolat. Definitely one great stout.

Pours dark brown with a finger thick cream colored head. The nose is roasted malt and a touch of chocolate. The flavor is the same, with a bit of a chalky mouthfeel.

Bottled. Poured deep brown with a rich cap of tan head. The aroma picked up nicely-roasted semi-sweet chocolates with a sweeter overall impression to it.. touch of vanilla and molases behind.. smelled good. The flavor opened with a creamy texture full of sweeter chocolates and vanilla.. bitterness was mild and earthy/woody in nature.. finished sweeter. Medium-bodied with lower carbonation on the palate.. quite well-balanced and tasty.

Bottle. Pours a deep black with a 2 finger tan head and spotty lacing. Nose is chocolate, roasted malt and mild coffee. Taste is ash, cocoa, and roasted coffee beans with a slight hop bitter finish. Medium creamy mouth feel. Pleasantly surprised with this one. Decent stout.

pours nearly opaque with lots of clumps of yeast and nearly black. it’s topped by a medium sized medium brown head that has some orange tints to it. intensely fruity aroma... strawberries and red table grapes mix with rich maltiness, chocolate, light molasses and smoky notes. the flavor is really quite rich... roasty grain, red grapes, fudgy chocolate, wood/oak/vanilla, some ash and a root beer/licorice/birch beer/sasparilla soda flavor that i can’t pinpoint. dry lightly spicy finish is bitter and ashy/charred. big ’ol coffee aftertaste. medium body with creamy soft carbonation when warm. (allow this to warm as the carbonation is prickly and unpleasant when cold!). i was not expecting this... i’m impressed!

Bottle. Black pour with a tan head. Malty roasted chocalate nose. The taste is close to the same with a bit of tartness. Smooth, tasty.

Very dark with nice tan head. Taste strong of coffee and chocolate. Very smooth. A good beer to drink slowly, despite it’s taste making you want to down it..
