Thanks for sharing, bro! Pours black with a thin mocha head which fades quickly and leaves a few streaks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is chocolate, charred coffee, and light vanilla. Taste is much the same. Very good flavors and incredibly balanced. A sessionable stout!

Bottle. Pours clear black with a small light brown head. The aroma has strong notes of good dark chocolate, as well as coffee and roasted malt. The flavour has roasted malt, some hops, coffee and chocolate. The palate is fairly light and dry.

"mild hops, heavily roasted aroma and flavor. this is an above average stout, but i do wish the mouthfeel was a little heavier. great mingling of the malt and light hops, though."

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
From 12 oz bottle. Pours a completely opaque black with not even a hint of a highlight. Dark brown head which collapses to a cap. Aromas of stewed plums, raisins, cocoa powder and coffee. Taste is dark fruit initially building to a roasty black coffee bitterness. That gives way to dark chocolate towards the end. Long, lingering slightly smoky finish with a currant and raisin aftertaste. Awesome stuff.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Deep brown-black body. Beige head fades into an oily residue pretty quickly. Nice rich roasty chocolate aroma. A pretty nice, classic American Stout. Though it has rich specialty malt tones, it also has nice hop balance. Well executed, solid offering,

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. It pours a jet black color with a small brown head. Very oily coming out of the bottle. The aroma has a lot of dark chocolate and black licorice. Toasty base with a touch of hot asphalt and tobacco. The flavor is full bodied and roasted with more black licorice, asphalt and some caramel in the middle. There’s some noticeable bitterness in the finish. A bit harsh on the palate, but the black malt is thankfully not too obtrusive. Overall, a nice medium level stout.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle consumed on bank of the McKenzie River (OR) at about 55F.
Opaque red-brown; excellent durable tan head leaves ample sticky lacing.
Aroma: dark bread with hints of molasses, chocolate, coffee and licorice.
Flavor: Rich dark malt flavor. Great balance. Moderate complexity. Dark roasted malts bring minimal smoke and char. Faint coffee in the lingering aftertaste.
Feel: soft medium carbonation. Medium-full body.

A nice creamy offering in a 6er from the Steelhead dpt of Mad River. Hints of roast, milk chocolate, bitter hops, and everything a single 6er stout should be.
