COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Steelhead Scotch Porter is a unique twist on a tradional style. Balanced with dark roasted barley and crystal malts, with the perfect blend of peated malt for a subtle smokey flavor.

Aroma is roasted malt with some peat. Pours dark brown with very little head. Taste is a little bit of chocolate malt. Finishes smooth with a little bit of the peat that it promised. Bottle at world of beer: Denver. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black color with a large beige head. Roasty malts and caramel on the nose, cocoa, faint smoke and nutty notes. Flavor is chocolaty and malty, slightly ashy, caramel sweetness at the end. Very easy to drink, medium to strong carbonation. Tasty.

Bottle. Very well-finished, sweet porter. Rich, tasty, with no off-flavors. Lingering sweet finish. I definitely prefer the robust flavor of this porter, which is plenty potent, without the boozy high-ABV’s typical of imperial stouts.

Dark brown with thin tan head. Roasted malt flavor with a slight sweetness. I don’t get a lot of smoke.

chocolate, caramel, smoke, brown, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, thick feel. Dark brown, unappealing sediment visible. Dark chocolate and smokehouse aromas. Thick in the mouth. Bitter chocolate taste, with heavy artificial smoke notes. Reminds me of high-school bonfires, slightly flat and though cool, tastes warm. Not bad per se, but honestly the smoke is overpowering.

355ml bottle. From an increasingly suspect liquor store. This one is oxidized fully, and it ruins it.

Pours a cloudy dark brown with a thin light brown head. Slightly smokey baker’s chocolate smell, similar flavor. Well-balanced bittersweetness. Porters are tough I think, this one’s good though.

Copper color with a tall and lasting tan head. Light to medium body, flavored intensity matching well the body, rich mouthfeel, long palate. Lightly bittersweet. Milk chocolate roast flavor. Initially unassertive, it grows on you. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
