Bottle at CBC 2014. Pours black with a beige head and some lacings. Quite sweet with a moderate bitterness. Malty aromas of nuts and toffee with hints of toasted malts. Also notes of dates. Medium to full bodied. Soft carbonation. Dry and sweet finish.

Bottle to tulip Consummation: Roasted, toasted, burnt, charcoaled malts mixed with bitter motor oil. Adjunct: So is brewed with popcorn a new way of saying highly fermentable corn syrup? Loads of toasted aromatics on the nose, molasses sweetness, nothing too much. This packs in a load of flavour.

Totalmente negra, espuma de boa formação e persistência, não tem o que melhorar... aroma de chocolate, cacau, caramelo, café, complexa, densa no aroma. No paladar o café e amargo do malte torrado prevalesce. Corpo denso, média carbonatação. Aftertaste de café e caramelo, médio torrado, um sabor diferenciado. Muito boa.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Smell of chocolate, fruits and some dark sugar. Creamy with chocolate, milky with fudge and roasted sugar. Quite sweet. Nice.

Really good porter. Hard to place the popcorn. Good traditional aroma. Excellent traditional flavor & body.

Bottle shared at the ber geeks X-mas party. Black pour. Ironically not a diacetyl bomb as is advertised (?!?) Weird sweet malty grainy aroma however, roast is light if present at all. Taste is moderately sweet, very light roast character, mild unfermented grain flavors. Palate is med bodied with med-light carbonation. OK.

Lubiere (12878) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2015
A clear dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light vinous notes, light treacle, pleasant piney hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with molasses, butterscotch, candy sugar, light bodied, a bit of roasted notes, OK. Bottle at Montréal Xmas gathering 2015.

KRS 140815. Black colour with a tan head. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, molasses, apple, caramel, popcorn. Weird beer.

(Mad Sød) 750 ml bottle at home, served into a shaker, ABV 6.7%% Very dark brown, almost black colour on the body, with a good sized and thick, brown head on top. Good retention. Faint aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Great taste though, sweet, with light roasted malts and strong port wine notes, sweet chocolate on the finish. I don’t really get any of the popcorn, maybe at times but that’s more because I’ve read it as an ingredient. Medium body, soft carbonation. Quite good.
