Bottle, 75cl. A hazy one, golden in color and with a minimal sized off-white head. Just a few bubbles actually. There’s a faint touch of funk in the aroma, but it’s the yuzy that runs the show. It’s quite sour in the mouth, but not acidic. Very citrusy flavor, with lemon juice, lemon peel, clementine. There’s a faint funky touch too. A bit heavy on the carbonation, dry on the palate. Some citrusy bitterness. Lasting finish. Certainly one-dimensional this one, but it’s quenching and tasteful, that’s for sure. 150314

bottle shared by tom10101, thanks bro! pours unclear dark golden-orange with a small white cap, not quite reviving and tends to dissapear leaving no lacing per say. very fragrant and present yuzu lemons, lemon and lime soda pop, pop-shoppe-like *TM, low-fi bugs, sof twoodsy notes - shy barrel character or is it just simply overshadowed by powerful citrus aroma? light to medium acidity - citric-oriented; light carbonation - slightly lacking; light body - oily, dry and tart citric finish. yuzu sure works great in spontaneous fermentation, plus barreling it. this concoction seems cohesive but it still feels slightly linear, acidity and bug-wise. still enjoyed!

Bottle (750 ml). From SlovakSniper, thanks! Split with the Québec crew.

Appearance: Hazy/cloudy golden/orange with a small quickly diminishing

Aroma: Burst of yuzu along moderate caramel presence, floral notes and yuzu again.

Taste: Good mix of yuzu (even though it’s a bit overpowering) and caramel with medium citric presence, light tartness, floral notes and medium tartness.

Palate: Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Super lemony and citric finish. Dry.

Overall: A bit unbalanced because of how strong the yuzu presence is. Also, the yuzu/caramel mix is less interesting than the yuzu/lambic from the Owa beer. But it’s still a very interesting drinking experience. Tasty and not too hard to drink either.

Pours a hazy golden with no head and thus no lacing. Nose is of yuzu, pine needles and tea. Pleasing. Taste is of citrus (yuzu, of course) and zest with some pink grapefruit impressions. Tartness level is medium-high. Body was medium, carbonation high and it was really refreshing. Overall a nice use of that yuzu fruit and something I could definitely drink a whole bottle of!
