Sample from bottle @ CBC 2014.
App: Hazy yellow.
Aroma: Lots of lemon with som spicy hints of brett and hops.
Taste: Ouff! Weird stuff. Just a big punch of sweet and citric lemonade with some soapy and spicy notes.
Palate: Medium body, oliy.
Overall: Too much lemonade. Not very good.

Small white head doesn’t last. Hazy orange body with carbonation. Grapefruit and mandarin aroma is very strong. Acidic intense grapefruit and mandarin taste with wild berries and lemon notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Acidic grapefruit and lime aftertaste with spicy grapefruit stone notes. Interesting. Totally different. (0.75l bottle, shared by Ole_R.)

bottle sample, poured a cloudy dark golden to amber colour with a white head. i have no idea what ýuzu’ is but i think it’s some kind of citrus fruit, because that’s the first aroma i notice, caramel, malts, lemon peel, (yuzu) grapefruit, slight tart of overpowered citrus fruits, apricot, quite refreshing beer

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy one, golden in color and with a minimal sized off-white head. Just a few bubbles actually. There’s a faint touch of funk in the aroma, but it’s the yuzy that runs the show. It’s quite sour in the mouth, but not acidic. Very citrusy flavor, with lemon juice, lemon peel, clementine. There’s a faint funky touch too. A bit heavy on the carbonation, dry on the palate. Some citrusy bitterness. Lasting finish. Certainly one-dimensional this one, but it’s quenching and tasteful, that’s for sure. 150314

bottle shared by tom10101, thanks bro! pours unclear dark golden-orange with a small white cap, not quite reviving and tends to dissapear leaving no lacing per say. very fragrant and present yuzu lemons, lemon and lime soda pop, pop-shoppe-like *TM, low-fi bugs, sof twoodsy notes - shy barrel character or is it just simply overshadowed by powerful citrus aroma? light to medium acidity - citric-oriented; light carbonation - slightly lacking; light body - oily, dry and tart citric finish. yuzu sure works great in spontaneous fermentation, plus barreling it. this concoction seems cohesive but it still feels slightly linear, acidity and bug-wise. still enjoyed!
