Bottle 33cl. Almost clear, yellow with flakes floating in the beer. A medium firm white top. Aroma is somewhat sour, but there’s hops, malt and yeast too. I love the beautiful balanced taste. A strong bitterness which fades somewhat and turns into malts and hints of sweetness in the aftertaste (which stays for a long time in your mouth).

Thanks to sebletitje! 330 ml. bottle sampled @Tilquin English Beer Festival 2015. Clear golden, creamy white head. Nose is soapy, yeasty, artificial lemon, fizzy & sweet on top. Taste is lots of sweet soap, cheap candy, thin sugar, lots of esters, artificial lemon,… Grainy body. Missing balance in my opinion, these flavours aren’t for me. Acceptable I suppose.

Aroma of light malt, lots of yeast, fruits, mild citrus, spicy notes, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate to medium bitter finish. Pretty good Tripel, both sweetish and remarkably bitter.

Taste comprises caramel, yeast esters, bubblegum, citric notes, banana, toffee, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok tripel, not too sweet, good balance.

On tap at Fermentøren bar. Clear bright yellow with a medium-sized white head, lots of lacing. The aroma is malty and fruity, alcoholic. The taste is sweet with dry, moderately bitter finish. Quite oily on the palate.
