2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 hennes (932) - Fountain, USA - AUG 27, 2001
Only had a sip of this but it seemed a bit insipid to me ... a trace of honey to be sure but more sourish why-do-this-to-good-wheat notes predominated.

On tap at brewery co. Taste was light bodied and honey upfront. Served with a lime had pleasant light favors and high drinkability. Brought home a growler of this.

On tap at the brewpub served with a wedge of lime for some reason. Pours a clear deep golden color with a thinnish white head. Smells of spicy wheat malt and a sweet honey like well sweetness. Sweet honey like taste with an earthy spicy wheat edge to it. The taste is OK, maybe I should have kept the lime in it. Medium body with a medium to high level of carbonation and a spicy sticky mouthfeel. Not a bad honey wheat beer, but not a great one either.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of sweet wheat and honey with a hint of backing fruit. Flavor was similar with sweet wheat, a growing honey note and light fruit in the finish. Went down easy.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Cletus (6064) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 11, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Pours copper with a thin, off white head. Smells of honey, some caramel, light citrus. Tastes semi sweet with some up front honey giving away to some sweet wheat elements and a velvety finish.

Sampler at restaurant. Clear and golden brown (why no haze?) After removing the lime the aroma was weakly alcoholic with a small amount of grain. Honey was apparent up front and only there’s a lightly bitter finish. Body is somewhat thin. I wonder if the attempt at a bright wheat beer means they filtered it too much and got rid of a lot of flavor.

Tap->juice glass (was accompanied by a lime on the rim of the glass): Pours a white, thin, diminishing head atop an amber body. Not much in the way of aroma. Thin taste, light body, and finishes astringent.

A hazy amber ale with a very thin white head. A mix of caramel, dark honey and lime (from the slug) in aroma, with developping butterscotch. In mouth, slightly off, sweet malt, lightly lactic acidity. Light bodied. On tap at brewpub, august 2 2009.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 VTHopHead (1387) - Barre, Vermont, USA - SEP 7, 2008
Sample draft at the brewpub - Poured a medium amber in color with a small white head. Aroma was heavily influenced by the lime they out in the beer... definitely not needed and a mistake IMHO. Flavor was also limited by the lime... little presence of honey detected. Watery... weakly flavored...
