COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Frostbite Barley Wine is rich and malty in flavor, with hints of fruity esters, a deep reddish-brown color, and a well-hopped finish. Having aged for over 2 years (batch was brewed in December 2009), this rich, malty, deliciousness has a well-rounded taste, perfect for any occasion.

Coles Barleywine Competition 2012. chocolate filled aroma. Almost dubbel like murky chocolate brown pour. Chocolate notes are front & center, decent bitterness, boozy. Good flavor, unique BW with chocolate notes

on tap-pours a tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel/scotch. Taste is alcohol, medium malt-caramel/scotch, earthy hops.

Dark amber pour with decent tan head. Nose is malty with bits of chocolate and caramel. Flavor has hints of bourbon, chocolate, wood, espresso and is mild brown sugar/maple syrup. The Texture is ultra smooth, very great mouthfeel for so much alcohol. Finish is bitter with hops, just makes you want to grab another sip.
