CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 11, 2008 Bottle thanks to kyzr: Pours a transparent orange bronze with a thin-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh piny hops and some mild pale maltiness. Body starts with decent fullness and light malty sweetness with a crisp bittersweet hoppy balance toward a crisp finish. A pretty decent APA. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 6, 2005 NABA 05: Nose of light hops and moderate amounts of malts. Finishes crispy. I found this mild, nicely hopped and rather pleasing after some of the other entrants today. JPDIPSO (4286), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Sep 12, 2008 Bronze to copper color. Big fluffy off-white head. Cortland apple aromas. I’m trying to catch more but that’s the dominate scent in my nose and I can not seem to shake it. Perhaps some caramel and orange blossom. I’ll have to say, it’s a good thing I like cortland apples. Light caramel sweetness along with a little bit of tart apple (yes, back to the apple thing). A bit of DMS and grain. Some grapefruit hops kick in later. Not sure of the date on this one, but new to the area, soo..? Not my type of pale. English/American/sourdough?
