2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Aubrey (3193) - Bellingham, USA - AUG 29, 2008
Amber-orange. Average head. Malts had some sweet caramel and toast, but otherwise they seemed a bit one-dimensional. Flowery-sweet hops. Juicy beer, but unexciting.

Draft. Hazy orange color, thick cream colored head, solid lacing. Aroma of fresh meadow grass. Taste is fruity and sweet malt with a nice bitter and smooth finish. Nice.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 patricks110 (916) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 29, 2012
Great little hopped up Pale Ale. Pours a bright yellowish-orange with a puffy off white head. Good lacing rings later on. Nose has floral hops and some citrus fruit notes. A hint of honey and caramel in the middle with a medium bittered hop on the finish. Well balanced and a good session pale overall.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dresden (269) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAY 12, 2012
Clear amber with a finger of white head. Aroma is pretty light but there is a bit of citrus and pine. Taste is pretty familiar, some light piney hops and a little citrus with sweet malt. Pretty decent APA.

650ml brown bottle. 6% abv as per label.Clear golden pour, good sized white head with a rocky/creamy froth. Lots of sticky lacing. Nose is floral with sweetish orange, a bit of lemon and grapefruit too. Taste has lemon and orange up front with some malt sweetness. Grapefruity finish, decent bitterness. Light body, creamy mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Pretty by-the-numbers APA, easy to drink/session. Was not a fan of some of Madison River’s other beers but I would drink this again.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 reebtogi (2197) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 22, 2012
650ml bomber pours a pale amber color with a finger and a half of white head with decent retention and reveals some nice thin lattice of lacing on the glass. Aroma is floral hops with hints of caramel and citrus. Taste is malty sweet up front followed up with a punch in the face of grapefruit bitterness that finishes quite clean. Medium body with ample carbonation. This is quite a flavorful pale ale and highly recommended.

On cask at Monatana Ale works. Smooth malty full bodied mouth feel with a touch of orange. Not digging the cask version of this and not sure what the original would bring but hopefully a lot more hops for something called hopper.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 womencantsail (3934) - Home of Rebecca Black, California, USA - JUL 19, 2011
A: The pour is a full amber color with a short lived off-white head and no lacing.
S: The nose opens up with grassy hops and a light floral note. A hint of citrus and citrus peel to it, but most of the nose is bready and toffee malts with just a hint of toast.
T: Pretty much the same as the aroma. There is a lot of grassy hops and some slightly sweet citrus along with bitter citrus peel and pine. Otherwise, it’s the bread malts with a bit of toffee sweetness.
M: Light to medium in body with a medium to high level of carbonation.
O: Better than their amber ale, but still not all that good.

Bottle poured a clear tarnished gold with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of biscuit, grapefuit, lemon and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, light grapefruit and a hint of pine with a smooth dry moderatly bitter finish.

(bottle) Clear amber body with a big cream-color head, stiff peaks. Mild citrus-pine aroma with floral notes. Flavor is sweet up front, floral, and finishes dry with an earthy, straw taste. Medium bodied.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 sarahmarie (254) - Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2010
Bronze in color, faint aromas, struggling to get much of anything but some pale malts, bit of caramel. The dominant flavor is caramelized malts. Eventually dry, grassy, hay flavors slightly come into play. The finish has a earthy, rye touch to it. Sort of reminds me of a summer saison without the spiciness. Hops are lacking to make any appearance. Pretty bland overall.
