COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This amber is created with the use of choice hops and a unique blend of specialty malts to produce a rich and tasty brew. It is especially unique due to its original flavor influenced by biscuit and earthy characteristics.

Clear amber with off-white head. Nice roasted and hoppy nose with a touch of nuts. Flavor is a bit nutty followed by a chunk of chewy hops thrown in along with a little sweet malt to blend it all to a clean finish.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Hazy copper-amber colour, nice frothy off white head. Honey, caramel, some skunky aroma. Unpleasant bitter taste, soft, easy to drink but, well, resistible. Medium body, weak carbonation, not fresh.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. Clear amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of light graininess, some slightly toasty malt, caramel hints, some floral hops and light fruity notes. Slightly sweetish malt flavor, a bit toasty and caramelly, continues dry with hops bitterness, a bit earthy. Medium-bodied. Pretty quaffable.

crazyvin (1574) - New York, USA - MAY 4, 2012
A nice clear amber body with a off white head that had some retention and even less lace. Aroma did have some great malt, mostly caramel but some biscuit notes and some mild hops. Flavor was a little on the sweet side, but not anywhere close to it being cloying. Some citrus hops in the finish. Finish was smooth and light and easy to drink.

Fizzy like champagne, beautiful bottle with amazing wrapper, buy it for the bottle alone, and Montana needs your precious tax dollars. Light, can’t get drunk drinking this, prove me wrong.

Beer of the Month selection - Nice clear amber/red, very faint head. Minimal malt aroma. Some toasted malt flavor follows initial hop bitterness. Thinner palate. Finishes clean. Pleasant but nothing memorable.

Pour is a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is sugary sweet malt maybe a little gingerbread. Flavor is bland sweet malts, no hop presence and a little plastic toward the end. Very watery and bland.

12 oz bottle. Pours copper with small off-white head. The aroma is caramel, catty hops, a little bit of candyish fruit, and some sort of spice (caraway?). The flavor is thin and dirty with lots of catty notes. There is a sort of caramel malt backbone, but it’s very muddied and tastes almost like rust, but not as metallic. There’s a harshness to it that is hard to pin down, a strange organic bitterness. Separate from the earthy hops. Finishes with cherry pits, ash, salt. Very unpleasant aftertaste. I couldn’t finish it.

12oz bottle pours a hazy copper/orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, dough, grain, and nuts. Taste is mildly sweet caramel into a empty fading bitterness. I have the same sediments as matthewjk. BotmC has really sent some crap and this month took the cake. This was a gift from my family and has been a waste of their money, honestly I would have been happier with a case of PBR.

Dark amber color. Sour dough toast, malty aroma. Clean and balanced taste. Crisp finish. Refreshing and light.

12oz bottle via "Beer of the Month Club" - Of course this is underwhelming because it came from BofMC. It’s off topic, but don’t use Beer of the Month Club! You will regret it--even if you get it as a gift like I am. I don’t even look forward to opening the box every month because the selection is almost always terrible. This amber is missing on almost all marks and I’m sort of mad right now because I got a box of crap beer and I don’t feel like typing anymore.
