2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Small head and a golden body, which clear but not crystal. Watery and sweet, not much hop character at all. Easy to drink, a llittle astringent aftertaste, an ok beer. Just ok.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. bottle at the Sun Room Bar at the Lake Hotel in Yellowstone. Pours a light, hazy, brownish orange color, with a small, fizzy, tan head. The aroma is a touch of rye spice under a general character of clover honey. There are notes of lemon and berries, with some cloves. Honey sweetness, with very little bitterness, but a nice rye spice that gives in a nice kick. Medium body, smooth feel with a light bite in the finish. This is hardly the best rye beer I’ve had, and it is too sweet, but it works surprisingly well, in my opinion. Subtle, drinkable, and fun.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz pour from tap into a shaker pint a bar in Bozeman. Clear, golden, light carbonation, light head. Fairly creamy medium body. Definitely sweet-- honey and a bit of a berry taste. A hint of malts and bitterness as well, but resoundingly a sweet beer. Probably best for a hot summer day for dessert.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
APPEARANCE ? dark golden color, fairly turbid probably owing to the rye in the mash bill.
NOSE ? light bit of malt comes through. Don?t smell the rye contribution, and does not smell overly sweet from malt or the honey.
FLAVOR ? overall pretty bland. Nothing sticks out in terms of flavors. Very light malt flavor, I may get a bit of rye. I don?t feel much from the honey.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy golden copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is rye, some honey, earthy, caramel. The taste is the same but something seems off with it.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Aroma consists of honey, caramel malt bordering on cloying; vaguely vomity. Pours cloudy golden with a collapsing white head. Taste is mildly sweet with flavors of honey, light spicy rye. Reminds me of a flavored macro lager in its blandness. Not too impressed, but it’s drinkable. A side note here: I don’t think this is brewed with raspberries like it says in the description here. The bottle makes no mention of it, there’s no pink hue, no flavors of raspberry whatsoever. Maybe an earlier incarnation of this beer was brewed with raspberries?

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Flat orange pour. Some malts, slightly bitter. Not awesome, but not terribly horrible either. Probably could have 4 or 5 sitting in the pub with the boys.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: NOV 5, 2014 Dusty aroma has some generic sweetness that you can kinda tell is honey but not raspberry. Little to no hop (or malt presence) just boring and lifeless. Nothing offensive, just not good.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving only a trace of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is light overall with just a hint of a wheat bread and honey smell. Along with these are some very light rye smells. Some caramel is there as well, but overall the aroma is very light.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready flavor with some hints of rye mixed within. The rye gets slightly stronger in intensity as the taste moves forward. All the while some honey and a little bit of a caramel taste comes to the tongue. Other flavors of some grain and a light spice come to the tongue as well, leaving one with a semi-dry and moderately ryed flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the rye flavors a little thicker body may have been a bit better for giving them more impact, but with that said, the lower body and carbonation were good for the honey and spice, so overall the feel was pretty decent.
Overall – A decent brew overall that is fairly easy drinking. Good, but nothing super outrageous.
