Poured a nice light golden color, clear with light carbonation. A nice what head that did have nice retention and some lace. Aroma had some biscuit malts and light honey. No real rye note. Flavor was nice but very light. No real hop presence to balance out the malts. No rye flavor. Too light on the palate. Not a bad beer, but lacking for sure.

Flat orange pour. Some malts, slightly bitter. Not awesome, but not terribly horrible either. Probably could have 4 or 5 sitting in the pub with the boys.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2014 Dusty aroma has some generic sweetness that you can kinda tell is honey but not raspberry. Little to no hop (or malt presence) just boring and lifeless. Nothing offensive, just not good.

Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving only a trace of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the beer is light overall with just a hint of a wheat bread and honey smell. Along with these are some very light rye smells. Some caramel is there as well, but overall the aroma is very light. Taste – The taste begins with a bready flavor with some hints of rye mixed within. The rye gets slightly stronger in intensity as the taste moves forward. All the while some honey and a little bit of a caramel taste comes to the tongue. Other flavors of some grain and a light spice come to the tongue as well, leaving one with a semi-dry and moderately ryed flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. For the rye flavors a little thicker body may have been a bit better for giving them more impact, but with that said, the lower body and carbonation were good for the honey and spice, so overall the feel was pretty decent. Overall – A decent brew overall that is fairly easy drinking. Good, but nothing super outrageous.

A slight opacity on the bottle pour with a very thin white head. This straw yellow ale is mild with a definite rye bread and yeast flavor. Malty smoothness with a watery finish. Not complex, decent.

Bottle pours a hazy dingy deep golden. A small off-white head. Dusty earthy malt aroma and flavors Dont taste much rye. A little bitterness at the end, Plain dull and a bit stale.

On tap at prefunk... This is one of The most average and inoffensive brews ever... Just so very average. Nose is only mildy malty.. some background honey essence .. a mild amount earthiness.. Flavor is like a mild American Amber with a touch more sweetness... and I guess I’m getting a little bit of rye spiciness, but I am pretty suggestible when it comes to these things... Body is on the light side with a fairly abundant carbonation.. overall I wouldn’t turn one of these down... but I would get bored fairly quickly.
