Can via trade. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a sudsy white colored head. Aroma had tropical and citrus notes with resin. Flavor had some grapefruit, passion fruit, resinous, some sweet malts, and a bit of an alcohol bite and burn. Potent beer. Full body, sticky texture, lively carbonation. Finish was bitter with a bit of alcohol bite to it. Solid brew. Would love to try Citra High.

Pours a clear and bright orange golden with a medium white head...light lacing and retention. Aroma has passionfruit and grapefruit...a bit boozy. Flavor follows suit...earthy and rindy bitterness...a bit resinous. Mouthfeel is medium / full and the finish is dry and earthy/resinous bitter.

12 oz can purchased at Meijer in Westerville. MadTree Galaxy High is a light orangey amber brew with a neat white head of small bubbles. Nose is a bit earthy, with citrus and some tropical fruit aroma. Taste is nice medium citrus backed up by a decent bite of hops. Body is lively and medium to thin. A nice DIPA.

9/26/2015: Very alcoholic and dank. God, I hate that term "dank" since it really doesn’t describe anything. Ask 15 different beer geeks what dank means and you’ll get 15 different answers. Any way, lots of citrus, peach, mango, and metallicy tropical fruits flavors in this one; the alcohol does not hide. Draught at Anderson Township Pub.

Can: Hazy, orange-amber with a small, off-white head. Tangy, spicy orange malt, evergreen aroma. Heavy bitter orange-peel and orange malt flavour. Sweet orange, followed by a wet, sticky, resiny, peel bitter.... Very nice....strong stuff.

Can (thanks to phaleslu). Lime, orange, malt, and spruce/orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Sweet tangy orange juice, malt and moderately bitter spruce/grapefruit peel flavor. Decent body.

Very flavorful beer. Most bitter beer of the bottle share. Possibly too bitter for me. Big dank resin flavor. Some pineapple citrus taste. Pretty good.

Look - Bright, golden orange. Short, white head with good lacing. Smell - Pine. Dank. Mango. Taste - Not as citrusy as most, but there. Pine and bread in the finish. Feel - Medium feel. Creamy. Overall - It’s hard to pick a favorite Ohio Double/Imperial IPA. Fat Heads Hop JuJu or MadTree Galaxy high? This is exactly what I would want out of an Ohio IPA. I was surprised when I saw it in cans.
