This dry-hopped ale combines caramel and biscuit malt flavors in happy equilibrium with late addition American hops. The approachable balance is intentional, although the name is a "hoppy" accident.

Draft at tap room. Poured clear dark amber hue with medium frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium aroma of sour citrus hops and sweet malt. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Well balanced flavor of malt, citrus hops with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Can. Nice beer, flavorful. Not too heavy on the hops, as expected. A little bit of caramel, nice malt backbone with a little bit of a bite.

Mad tree happy amber is a dark amber liquid that is slightly hazy and has a thin head of small bubbles. Nose is sharp with cedar hops. Taste is crisp with a good amount of hops and roasted malt. Body is lively. Finish is crisp and with good bitters.

Amber pour with a frothy head. Malt aromas are overpowered by the hop presence. Big hop flavors (almost tastes like an IPA) keep the biscuit and caramel malts from even having a shot at showing up. Way too hoppy.

A pretty nice amber, maybe similar to say CCB tocobaga? Mildly hoppy but well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can thanks to DrSilverworm. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small foamy head that fades to a bubbly ring and leave some minor webbing. Aroma is big on biscuits and bread with hints of flowers and toffee. Tastes pretty biscuit-y and incredibly dry. Big floral and earthy hops in the bitter finish. I really don’t like how dry and earthy this is. Makes it pretty hard to drink.

12oz can into vessel: Not bad, has some smooth malty characteristics with a punctuated hop presence. It was agreeable.

Purchased from the Hopple Street BP Station minimart - Alright, this amber ale is a hoppy delight, with a solid grain-type body to back up it’s beery goodness!

This beer is a clear copper color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, caramel malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of bready malt, caramel and earthy hops. The finish is malty up front with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz can. Filtered orange-red-tan with some tiny floaties. Foamy, respectable off-white head. A pretty decent Amber. Biscuit caramel, toffee tones. Slightly bigger hop bill than gives it some nice balance. OK.
