The subtle malt backbone combats the bitterness and intensity of floral, grassy, and citrus hop flavors. However, taste is perception. Whatís your slant?

A decent ipa. A bit to sweet with a straight forward hop profile. Great at the ballpark.

(tap) clear yellow colour with a tall white head; aroma of citrus, stewed fruit; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

Poured from a can to a perfect pint. 4.0 A: Mildly hazed light orange color. Two finger of pillowy off-white head. Retention is very good and tons of lacing is left. 3.5 S: Grassy first, floral next, with lemon and orange citrus rounding it off. Malts are overall pretty clean with some doughiness and a bit of yeasty breadiness poking through. Mild caramel sweetness to round it off. 3.75 T: Mild bitterness. A touch sugary. Lemon, mango, and orange citrus lead the way this time. Floral and grassiness are there, but take a back seat. Again itís clean overall with a light yeast and doughiness. Light caramel. 3.5 M: Medium body. A bit chewy. Good moderate carbonation and supremely smooth. 3.75 D: Pleasantly tasty and easily drinkable. ★ 760 characters DavoleBomb, Aug 31, 2015

12oz can in a tulip. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and lightly piney/resinous hops, some pale malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not the best IPA, but not bad either. Not the freshest can so Iíd have to try fresher to give it an appropriate judging.

Canned 12/4/14 -- so quite old, but letís give it a whirl. Pours hazy honey color, nice creamy white head, good lacing. Aroma is like a hoppy barleywine. Burnt sugar, slight orange, toffee. Actually pretty nice. Flavor is a little hoppy, orange, some more burnt sugar. Interestingly enough, the age isnít bad on this.

Fabulous! Great IPA with a grapefruit hint. Need to find it nearby. Love it

Can from the nearby Walgreens. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a smallish off-white head on there. Nose is lightly floral with some sweet citrus notes in there; interesting, but not quite what I expected in an IPA. Taste is moderately bitter and much dryer than I would have guessed from the nose, but is exactly what I wanted this evening. Really quite a nice brew.

Can poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, grapefruit and light grassiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, grapefruit and ligjt grassiness with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

12 oz. can, dated July 2015, into a snifter. A: Clear but limited clarity in the gold-amber body. Moderate size but short lived head leaves spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma - very fruity, with plenty of citrus, mainly orange. Suggests more tartness than sweetness. Good complexity. Feel: Medium body and near medium carbonation. Crisp and dry. Flavor: Some sweet malt; enough to leave this IPA with relatively low bitterness for style. The hoppy characteristics still dominate, with tropical fruit, herbal and evergreen notes. Overall: Low bitterness but plenty of hops for an IPA.

Really hoppy. Cloudy. Lots of west coast hops. Tasted at Lauren and Andrews wedding.
