COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Raspberries and chocolate go together like two peas in a pod. But donít worry, thereís no peas in the Rubus Cacao. Rather the sweet chocolate, roasty bitterness and dark raspberry fruit combine in perfect harmony. Who knows, the Rubus might even become the pea in your pod!

on tap W@ Party Town / Florence KY --- Opaque Brown/black, head drops quickly to the rim. tiny dots of lace. Taste is toasted malt that becomes earthy in the palate, then adds light raspberry and coffee grounds for a balanced finish. The sweet never quite gives up, nice balance ,very drinkable.

(tap) clear dark amber colour with a small brown head; aromas of chocolate, bit of funk, sour fruit, smoke; very tasty flavour - like a good raspberry chocolate bar

Draft in a snifter - raspberry nose. Sip adds chocolate. Reminds me I those assorted fancy chocolates you get from your grandparents as a kids and just munch on them not knowing what you picked out until you put it in your mouth since you canít read. Coffee aftertaste with wood/smoke notes. The fruit beer sucker in me would have liked more berries. Wood fire smoke for sure like cherry or chestnut. Makes me want to camp.

A good flavored cocoa porter with a taste of raspberry at the end. Received from growler station at Jungle Jimís. Poured nice dark brown color with a nice short lasting head. None of the flavors are overpowering, but you can taste them all. Easy to drink and goes down nicely. An overall very good beverage.

Draft: nothing suprisingly here, itís chocolate and raspberries. A little heavier on the raspberries vs the chocolate, but if you think of it as a fruit beer with some chocolate flavors, it is wonderful. Fresh, sweet and does down really easy. Nicely done!

Draft in a sampler at the brewery. Pours a dark brown with clear edges and a small tan head. Aroma of raspberry, chocolate, brown sugar, and light toasted and roasted malts. Flavor of raspberry, chocolate, earth, leaves, and a hint of spice. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet, earthy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Unusual beer with the raspberry presence, but it works in its own unique way.

Draft at Madtree. Also bought growler which seemed a little overcarbonated. Chocolate and raspberry come through nicely and are not overwhelming.

Draft. Pours dark clear reddish brown color with an average frothy tan head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted chocolate raspberry aroma. Medium to full body with a dry smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy chocolate sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a good drinkable beer.
