COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a virgin hopcone in the bottle! Probably the redemption of Gottems’ Blondje.

Gusher (because of the hopflower). Blond/amber, medium carbonation. Easy drinkable, herbs and grassy aroma. Bitter finish.

(2/2012) bottle. Grass, raw hops on the nose. Cloudy, yellow in color with a good head. Citrus, malt, tripel like aromas. Quite bitter. And a bit green grassy. Overall a flavorful, interesting brew.

Golden colour, white head, UFO’s floating around. Aroma of hops, apricot, malts, yeast, soap and light nail polish remover. Bitter flavour, light nail polish remover, pronounced sweet notes. Quite floral. Malty finish with bitter notes, some soap.

Bottle: Very big vast and slowly settling down creamy (off) white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Aromas of hop, glue, floral, some sweat, ash, yeast, hints of harsher fruit, soap an malty grains. Flavours of hops, bitters, floral tones, some lemon and apricot, card board, citrus, grains, bitters, malts, malty bitter. Close to dirty bitter... First it’s hoppy lemon floral and bitter than it’s more malty and grainy with a slightly other bitterness. Aftertaste of malts, floral, bitters, grains and hops. Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture. Expected more if this beer, strangely balanced, but it’s not a bad beer. And those hop parts floathing into your mouth with every sip is a bit annoying, but kudo’s for the hop cone, I like that.

Ruikt hoppig en heeft veel aroma, hopbel in de fles! Heeft veel hop karakter met een mooie afdronk! Een milde IPA

Pretty nice beer. I like the idea of the hopcone inside. First few sips were dissapointing, but once the bottle got emptied, the taste evolved to something very nice. Nice beer

Bottle 33 cl, BBE 11/2013. Pours hazy golden in color with foamy white head. A mix of citrus, some yeasty and bready notes in aroma. A bit of citrus, some yeasty notes and even some earthy flavors. Got a second bottle, as the first one was a bit of a gusher, lively carbonated was the second bottle as well. A bit bitter with some more sweeternotes in finish.

Miild hoppy nose. Pale large head. Slightly hazy golden color. Small floating particles. A hopcone from the bottle. Slightly sour hoppy and fruity taste. Well balanced.

Cloudy golden, white head. Bottle opens with a pop and foam pushes out a virgin hop bell. Virgin comes so to speak. For the rest, it’s just an average Belgian ale. Yeast, some hop, some spice.

bottle @ home from wijnegemse. small gusher pours realy hard, as the hop blocks the pouring hole... iuntill, of course, the last few CLs, than ip popped into the beerglass, damn... the idea is cool, but the vision of this floating around in your poured beer... anyways, orange-ish with a big white foam ( of course, the hops collapsed in the beer , making a bigger foam . ) smell is hoppy, but nowhere near as hoppy as i thought it would be . Carbo is to high, but for the first time, it doesnt realy bother me ? bitter, blonde ale. not an IPA taste , realy. more like a good, unextreme tasting blonde ale, with much hops. actualy very nice :) shame for the view.. maybe if i have this again, i’ll use a spoon or so , to make sure this doesnt happen again :p
