4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 kraddel (917) - deurne, BELGIUM - FEB 7, 2013
bottle @ home from wijnegemse. small gusher
pours realy hard, as the hop blocks the pouring hole... iuntill, of course, the last few CLs, than ip popped into the beerglass, damn... the idea is cool, but the vision of this floating around in your poured beer...
anyways, orange-ish with a big white foam ( of course, the hops collapsed in the beer , making a bigger foam . )
smell is hoppy, but nowhere near as hoppy as i thought it would be . Carbo is to high, but for the first time, it doesnt realy bother me ?
bitter, blonde ale. not an IPA taste , realy. more like a good, unextreme tasting blonde ale, with much hops. actualy very nice :) shame for the view.. maybe if i have this again, i’ll use a spoon or so , to make sure this doesnt happen again :p
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 3, 2006
(Bottled, with a hop flower :) Very hazy orange color with a large, foamy and pillowy, duvely head. Fresh, sweetish-fruity, hay-hoppy aroma. Very lemony-fruity, flowery, slightly sour and acidic flavor with light, witbier-like spiciness. Medium-bodied palate with balanced carbonation. A very nicely hoppy and balanced, tasty brew. Would definitely buy again.
4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 tderoeck (3057) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 7, 2011
26/05/2011 33cl bottle @ home - Bottled: FEB/2011 (2011-228)
Dark blond to amber cloudy beer, off-white head, unstable, falls down fast to a small layer. Lots of small light beige chunks floating around. Aroma: citrus fruits, sweet malts, ripe fruits, flowers, herbs, a bit piny even. Very complex and promising. MF: light carbon, full body, bit syrupy texture. Taste: sweet malts, some candi sugar, pretty fruity turning towards citrus fruits. Aftertaste: pretty bitter but not too dry, lots of citrus and some sugar. Alcohol is clearly present in the aftertaste. Weird with only 7% ABV (indicated on bottle).

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 rauchbier (3409) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2005
Bottle conditioned, from the brewery courtesy of John White. Hazy gold, thin but lasting white head and moderate condition. Pleasantly sweet and honeyed initially in the nose with a building grapefruity citric note and raw wet hoppiness. Spicy and sweet in the mouth with touches of fruity yeast, gentle chalkiness and fresh flowery hop resins combined with refreshing pine notes. Lingering dry chalky hop resin bitterness in the finish, some gentle honey sweetness and hints of yeasty bread. The Saaz hop cone rises gently out of the bottle on opening, driven out by the carbonation although you may need to tap on the bottle to achieve the effect. Best drunk fresh according to the brewer. Also known as Dogabier.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Swaroga (797) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 8, 2012
33cl bottle. The beer exploded when opened. There is a hop flower inside. Light yellow/orange and really hazy liquid with lively and bubbly foam. Nose : It has a very fresh and strong nose. Notes of citrus fruits, bread, some nice esters with flavor of peach and banana. Little ginger bread. Sip : Strong carbonation with low to medium density body. Very lively beer, it carbonates even while swallowed. Moderately sweet with flavors of bread, gingerbread. It develops quite strong bitterness from hop that tastes like citrus zest. When you chew on the hop, the bitterness will last a bit longer. It’s tastes a bit spicy with pepper. The aftertaste is strongly citrus. The beer has a lively carbonation and it gets you tipsy like champagne. Overall it’s well balanced. The way it explodes on the beginning it’s a bit surprising. There has to be special , very large glasses for this beer. Anyway, it’s a tasty one.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bartlebier (523) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - FEB 4, 2013
15cl sample from 75cl bottle @Brugge BF 03/02/2013. - Family of: Poperings Hommelbier - Belgian blonde hoppy ale. - Dry and yeasty palate, very pleasant drinkability with unnoticeable 6,5% ABV, traditional but prominent Belgian grassy hop bitterness, set off against a quality malt backbone and some sweet yeast notes. Got the single hop cone in my glass, which was rather tasty as well (notice: do not swallow, you’ll choke...).

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 zinneke (42) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 3, 2013
Pretty nice beer. I like the idea of the hopcone inside. First few sips were dissapointing, but once the bottle got emptied, the taste evolved to something very nice. Nice beer
