Zythos Bierfestival 2012, Leuven, Belgium. It pours clear deep gold with near white head. The aroma offers up sugar sweet mango sweetness that is lightened by some spicy like hops. The taste is smooth and has a mix of smooth sweet malts, grainy malts, citrus hops and some mango like notes. Around the edges I get notes of spicy hops helping this get into the finish. Pretty nice crisp session beer with nice fairly rich flavor yet extremely drinkable.

(Bottle, 0.375 l, at Tuulensuu, 20120811) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, grass, hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts, Belgian style yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, fruity and bitter. A very tasty hoppy and clearly Belgian style beer.

(Bottled, 0.75l) Murky orange with a small, but firm head. Aroma of citrus, lemonadey raspberry, some sour raspberry stones. The same with flavor: wheaty, sourish malt and (rasp)berriness - not much else. Medium to full body, soft but foamy CO2. A decent beer, but the raspbery dominates too much.

Pours hazy yellow-orange color with small head. Aroma of hoppy fruits, caramel, mild berry notes, yeast and spice notes. Flavor of spices, mild fruits, raspberries, grass, yeast and some herbs. Lots of carbonation, bitter fruity palate with a mild sourish finish.

A clear golden colored beer, with a white head. The aroma of sweet fruits like citrus with hop bitter. The taste of sweet fruits with notes of spices and hop bitter. The aftertaste is sweet moving to bitter and sparkling.

Bottle 75cl. Shared with Wim and Yves. Lovely naming!!! Darker blond coloured beer with lots of carbonation and a small white head. Rather special hoppy floral hinted aroma with some sweeter bitter fruity notes. Medium to full palate. FInish is rather light bitter hoppy noted. Not bad.

Clear orange beer, big aery white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, lychees, passion fruits, mandarins, little cheesy. MF: a bit too much carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very cheesy, yeast character, lemon, little fruity, bit soapy bitterness. Aftertaste: citrus peel, some spices, bitter herbal ending. Pretty good, simply LOVE the label!
