Draught at the Brauereigasthof: deep golden, slowly collapsing fluffy off-white head; sweetish-malty and nutty nose with a faint tinge of alcohol and herbal-hoppy spots as well; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; citrousy traces in the bitter-sweet and honeyish finish. Good Bock, quite well balanced.......

Apr 30, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear chestnut colour. Big, stable, creamy, rocky tan head. Nice malty aroma. The flavour starts sweet and malty, turning roasted and then vinous. There is some alcohol flavour, in good balance with malt and very nice. Low to medium carbonation, very pleasant.

Apr 11, 2008 Draught @ Brauerei Mager, Pottenstein, Oberfranken/Bayern, Germany. Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted. , caramel, sugar, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (210308)
