(bottle) pours a clear copper-ruby colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of heavy bubble gum, ripe cherries, barnyard, grass and tobacco, very interesting. flavour is mostly barnyard and floral hops, slightly meaty, with notes of lavender, lightly roasted malts and rose pettles. medium-bodied with lively carbonation. awesome dunkles.

Draft. Pours cola brown with an off white head. Lightly toasted malts, a hint of sweetness, and low bitterness. Pretty good.

Bottle stamped 17.12.12. Sweet dusty nose, ruby pour with a tanned head. Lightly bittersweet taste with an avalanche of mild ash and mild burnt roast. Very faint fruit, dries out and lets the bitterness shine after a while. Light-medium body with minimal hops and not enough of a supporting malt base.

Leicht röstmalzig im Geschmack, trocken mit zunehmend herben Verlauf. Ungewöhnlich, aber dank des aromatischen Hopfens auch sehr lecker. Gelungen!

Pours amber with an off white head. Malty and lightly sweet aroma with some light toasty notes. The flavor has light caramel malt and light toasty notes.

Bottle @ Uncle Chris’ house in Fürth. Dark burnt orange appearance with a nice, fluffy, light brown head. Somewhat metallic, lightly nutty, chewy malty aroma. Toasty malty, light chocolate, a touch nutty flavor that again is fairly metallic. I think it may be a fantastic beer, but it may just be a little old. Too bad.

Bottle @ Brewery, Pottenstein. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Nose is bread, grains and caramel. Flavor is paper, fruit, tobacco and earth. Medium bodied.
