Very carbonated. Give a thick head. Dark chestnut colour. Aroma is minerally, with light toffeeish, breadcrusty notes. The minerals tend to dominate the palate with the dark sugary character in the background. A bit out of balance.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 22, 2011
Bottle, from trade with Maria. A dense, two-finger head forms on top of a clear, chestnut colored body. Lacings. Sugary dried fruits at first in the aroma, then there’s some dms chiming in. Nice bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the end, but at first it’s a bit harmed by the dms flavor. A bit thin on the palate, quite dry. Light metallic in the finish. A decent and drinkable beer indeed, but the level of dms is too high for my likings. 110722
