mullet (763), Melbourne, Australia Sep 17, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Clear deep orange-brown, head only OK. German hops, cola, juicy juicy malt, a touch of rasping roast, apple juice and purple berries ("I ated the purple berries"). So juicy. Not much like a Münchener-style dunkel but fairly typical of these beers in Franken. Delectable stuff. Fantastically drinkable. Motelpogo wouldn’t shut up about how much better the bottled version was too - not sure why I didn’t think to, you know, buy a bottle.
