edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA May 23, 2007 4/7/07: Bottle. Yellow body. Grassy nose. Hay-like flavor with a bit of malt. Finish is slightly bitter and slightly stale. kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA May 19, 2007 Another ho-hum beer from the Joe’s Garage pack. Poured a nice golden color with snow white head of medium thickness that lingered awhile and dissipated with little lacing,. Aroma was hard to detect, and what was there seemed to be grainy hops, with little else. The flavor of this "mystery" beer was indeed a mystery, not necessarily bad, just hard to pick out any true taste.
Finally, the finish of this thin bodied beer was short and watery.
Leave this one in the garage. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA May 15, 2007 Clear pale yellow body with a large frothy white head. Sweet honey aroma with some heavy grain. Sweet grain flavor with some grassy hops. rocbyter (902), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA May 12, 2007 Grainy and yeasty aroma. Clear golden color with little to no head. Starts mild and ends with a slight hop bitterness. zebracakes (1214), Washington DC, USA May 12, 2007 Bottle. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma is sweet corn, hops. Flavor is corn, wheat, hops. Nothing special about this brew. bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA May 11, 2007 I think this is a great Pilsner. Not a pussy one like Miller Lite. Its flavorful, and great. Everything from the aroma of hops, to the flavor of hops going down. It’s amazing, an awesome Pilsner. hopson (591), Williamsville, New York, USA May 7, 2007 Not good. In the Joes Garage Variety pack, and everyone at my house who tasted it agreed it was pretty bad. I don’t expect this mystery beer to go anywhere. At least, I hope not. tagz (334), USA May 1, 2007 not really much to this one. they say its a pilsner but it could easily be confused with a macro light lager. its got a bit more body and a fair amount of bitter. people are citing citrus and sweet but that complexity is really not there for me. its like a number 9 without the subtle sweet. my guess is they’ll send this mystery beer to the grave.
