COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark gold with a creamy white head. Aroma of peach/apricots. Taste is slightly sweet with the peach/apricot and some lemon. Different and interesting. Good.

It poured a clear golden color, with a small white head. The aroma was of malts, sweet hops and fruit. The flavor was of malts and dry fruit (apricots) not very sweet.

Taster at Freddy’s, This is now distributed in Ca. Pours a light gold color with a small white head. The aroma is a bit weird with cereal grains and some mixed fruits. The taste is all apricot with biscuit malt bringing up the rear. The palate is light and the carbonation is medium. Finishes dry with a bit of an off flavor. Overall: A good apricot character diminished by a mediocre beer base.

Nice fluffy white head that fades quickly. Nice dark golden color with a sweet bready/yeasty aroma. Everyone seems to talk about the apricot flavor in this beer but I just don’t get it. Maybe I’m not that familiar with apricots. A very good beer for a summer night....or any night for that matter.

Pleasant fruit beer. Light grain with apricot or peach hints. Light carbonation. Sweet but not overly so. Taste good with the hot weather.

Has the hoppiness of a pale ale mixed with the edge of a fruit beer. Good in body, a very good fruit beer.
