COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Has the hoppiness of a pale ale mixed with the edge of a fruit beer. Good in body, a very good fruit beer.

Poured a deep, clear yellow with a decent head. Fruity/citris nose with a thin taste. Not too much fruit, but not so refreshing. Average at best.

Tap: Clear gold with a white head. Sweet and pleasant aromas. The flavor is cardboard and red apples followed by a thin body and aftertaste. Yuck.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Grain and light earth aroma. Light citrus and light grain flavor. Medium bodied. Citrus and light pine lingers with light grain.

Bottle pours deep gold with a white head. Aroma shows notes of apricot, tangerine, hay, light caramel, and some underlying florals. Flavor shows the same with a certain "fruity pebble" quality from time to time. It’s definately a fruity beer with a relatively significant malt profile to keep it from getting to be too much. Interesting.

not a great beer by any stretch, come on now it is a note quite pale ale with apricot? It is not my cup of time, but I could see some "alternative" beer drinkers be into this type of thing

12oz bottle out of a variety case. Poured a golden yellow with an off white fizzy head. Aroma was fruity, like a mixed bag of grandpas dried fruit. Tasted sweet/sour with apricot notes. Thought it would have been light bodied but its heavier. Pretty nice beer, have had it plenty of times.

On tap at brewery. citrusy nose with quick fading white head. Tastes plenty of appricots, with also some brown sugar, and bread. light hopping and high carbonation. I have had before in bottles and thought too much but as sample just right amount of this beer
