3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Three quarter pint brown bottle purchased from Home Service Beer Beverage Discount Center, Glenview, NY. Hazy amber hued pale ale with nice apricot and malty aroma. No discernable head and carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied. Starts and finishes with a slightly sweet synthetic apricot flavor. No discernable hop. Though not my cup of tea, this is an interesting drinkable fruit flavored beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured a clear amber color without much head. There is a little taste of hops mixed with fruits, the taste of apricot is noticable. This is a decent beer.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber/golden with a thin head. Aroma is somewhat musty and fruity. Taste is malty, weak hops, and some fruit. Nothing too impressive here, probably wouldnít pick it up again.

i had only heard of this beer, living on the west coast. i was eager to try it when i went to boston. surprisingly many bars/pubs have it on draft. poured light golden brown with little to no head. nose of musty fruits of apricots and apples. mouth pushes the same with a week backbone of maltor wheat and flat hops. thin and weak. what a horrible beer and disapointment. why the hell do they sell this crap? engine engine #9, you suck bro!

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Weirdly fruity too hoppy palealish concoction. Not impressed. It seems as gimmicky as Magic Hatís truly annoying and unnavigable website.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thin white head dissipates quickly. Cloudy orange color. Dry, fruity taste with a sweet aftertaste on the palate. Creamy and full, though it feels like it should more like a wheat beer. Fun to drink.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Filter-bright golden orange with avg head. Dried apricot and bread crust aroma - like some toast with apricot ham. Slightly creamy, too-thick body. Comes across as a little starchy/pasty. Sort of a "good" version of Pyramidís Apricot Ale - if such a thing exists.

I used to think that I really liked this beer. Every once in a while, Iíll try it and not mind it so much. For the most part, Iím not a fan. Very weak bodied and flavored. I feel that the apricot flavor mixed with something else in the beer comes off tasting like mild barf. Yes, thatís really what I taste. Itís not strong but very present.
