3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 OldGrowth (2138) - North Carolina, USA - AUG 5, 2003
Bottle: So-so nose Fruity, apricot peach. Light orange golden color. Dried fruit taste with a slight hop background. Quick watery finish. Has that summer beer theme going on. Kinda refreshing. Should of pumped up the fruit. Another mediocre offering from a Magic Hat.

Deep golden and slightly hazy with a effervescent head that dissipated quickly. Aromas of citrus and fruit with a bit of graininess (wheat?) to it. Palate is quite thin and I found it slightly watery. Flavors of honey, orange and corriander stand out. Slight metallic aftertaste.

Not too impressed with this one. Tasted like a pale ale with a slight hint of apricots. Some apricots in the nose. Overall not too much goin on here.

Nice ale with a hint of apricot. Light enough to get absolutely hammered, but strong enough that you don't want to. Excellent "anytime" beer.

Both the aroma and taste are dominated by apricot. Not much hop flavor. Light bodied. Mouth-feel similar to that of a an ESB.

UPDATED: JUL 25, 2003 What on Earth is this stuff? I was at a party last year when someone handed me one. It tastes like it's 150 years old! Pure crap! Unfortunately this is the lowest rating this site will allow me.

Very fruity. Other reviewers says it's apricot, so I'll go along with that but the aroma and flavor are more of a generic fruitiness. Mouthfeel is sweet and a touch too watery. Best described as drinkable and interesting but not distinguished.

A light ale with a hint of non-synthetic apricot essence. Not overly sweet. A bit to thin and hop starved for my taste.
