4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Prostman (1077) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 18, 2003
This may be the most refreshing beer that I have ever had. The color is orange/amber and the taste is very balanced between the malt and fruit flavors while finishing somewhat dry. Just an outstanding beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AustinMilbarge (681) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 11, 2003
White, slightly golden, tightly packed head. The aroma is sweet. There are raspberries in there I think, almost a champagne scent. Hazy, honey-golden color, a little bit of sediment, but really a negligible amount. As the commercial description states, "dry and crisp". Very little carbonation. If you've had New Belgium's Frambozen, this is like that, but instead of a Brown Ale backbone, this has a pale ale spine. Pretty unique and interesting, overall.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 xmandax (130) - Astoria, New York, USA - MAR 9, 2003
deep orange pour. very little head that stuck around for a while with a citrus-y aroma (orange or peach or something?) slight hop with a more discernable citrus flavor. nice finish; slightly bitter with more lingering citrus.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rockinout (966) - Kent, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2003
Golden color, no head, fruity citrus peach nose. Some dryness comes about and the beer dries off the tongue.
3.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Drew (2413) - Kent, Ohio, USA - MAR 2, 2003
Nice apricot/fruit aroma, poured light gold, good head and lacing. Body was on the thinner side, sweet and full of soft fruits. Apricot lingers awhile at the finish, then it dries out and gains an unwelcome "off" flavor.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dorwart (2269) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - FEB 28, 2003
Decent frothy head which lingers for a while. Slight aroma of peaches. Great color of medium orange/brown with great clarity amd carbonation. Flavor of sweet peaches and malt. Definately on the fruity side but not over-whealming. Finish is sweet and pleasant with very little aftertaste. An interesting brew and a tasty one to be experienced.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 estoppel (1028) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2003
Clear gold body. medium white head, peaches and apricot in the nose. Somewhat sweet, with cereal malts, fruity flavors. Perhaps some wheatiness.

A Pretty good beer. If you don't care for a sweeter, fruity brew, I wouldnt recommend this one. This beer has a noticeable pear/white grape finish.

Pretty thick white head. Looks nice. Nose is light and refreshing tart fruitiness, green apples and esters all over the nose. Finishes clean and dry with an almost cherrylike character among the sweet malts.
2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 omnivore (270) - San Francisco, California, USA - FEB 17, 2003
Magic Hat Beer Tasting, Brighton, MA -- This is much better from a tap than from a bottle. The golden honey color was extremely eye pleasing, and the hoppy aroma with the faint sweet scent of apricot essence made the nose happy. The taste had a bitter front, which was actually very easy on the tongue (due to underhopping). The hints of apricot in the finish slowly gave way to a nice bitter aftertaste. This is SO not the beer I had from a bottle.
