Commercial Description:
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Clear yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of pilsner hops, yeast, berries. Flavor is full of fruit and light beer. Not the most refined or complex of beers, but you can put down quite of few of these without complaining. Great for a night of... celebration.

Draft. Poured a deep golden color with a small white head. When I first took a sniff, I thought I had the wrong beer. I didn’t think this was a fruit beer, but all I got in the nose was peaches, a touch of apricot, and some light malt notes. The carbonation was medium-high with a medium-light mouthfeel. For the most part, the palate follows the nose giving me peach and apricot up front with light malt notes, and a touch of sweetness. No real hops to speak of. Light in body and highly drinkable. Definitely something different, but not something I would care to drink every day either.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is of wheat and malt, with some other interesting and unidentifiable aromas as well. Flavor is very cereal. What distinguashes this beer from real pale ales is this beer is not at all hoppy. Very good, very unique. Would reccommend to anyone.
