Commercial Description:
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Light golden with thin head. Apricot nose that I confused with peach at first. Somewhat thin mouthfeel with little bitterness. Quite drinkable, but boring. Your mother-in-law might like this beer.

Draft. Apricot nose and flavor. Not a lot else going on. A little too watery.

the apricot flavor is perfect! not overwhelming, but more than subtle. great level of hops. a little bit thin and watery, but thats the only downfall i can think of.

Bottle and draft in college. Pours a straw body with a 2 finger white head. Notes of citrus apricot and a bready finish. Thin with a light alcohol finish. Good stuff with a fruity finish.

12 oz bottle courtesy of eaglefan538. Drink by end of month Dec 08 notched on label. Pour orange golden with a two inch white head. A fair amount of carbonation and a bunch of floaties. Aroma of sourish orange and apricots. Some malty biscuit behind that. Taste is the apricots, strong and bitter. Sour is more astringent in the taste. Palate is light to medium bodied, oily and slick. Interesting and tasty, thanks Brian.

Nice copper por and a thin meager head. but decent aroma of graint and sweetness. Grain, water and Apricot flavor. very thin on the palate. I like this alot.....great session brew and very distinct.

Gold with a soapy white head. Nose is grainy and corn with slight fruit. There is some flavor buried here, bordering on APA style bready malt with a noticeable hops that are tied by fruit, not as overbearing as expected. Rather watery palate. Acceptable stuff.
