Commercial Description:
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Pale piss colored clear pour with a thin white head. Intense apricot aroma. Very pleasant. Slight maltiness as well. Bitter flavor with lots of apricot. A little skunky. The apricot is tasty though a bit overpowering. Some creamy flavor and a malty backbone. Slight hop finish. A bit watery. Decent, refreshing beer.

Pours translucent golden color with a finger of off white head. Very mild malt and fruit aromas, not as strong as one would expect. The fruit comes out more in the flavor, melds with the hops and creates a strange quasi pale/fruit ale. Not really my thing, but was pretty refreshing at the pool party I attended today.

This is an interesting beer. Clear, golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma is fruiy and malty. Tastes fruity anjd malty as well. Not trying to play into the description but it really is kind of hard to nail down. I would say apricot and maybe banana stands out. Finish is sweet, malty and pleasant. I really like this brew.

on tap, NYC. Pours a hazy golden color, orange aroma among other fruits. Well balanced aroma. Taste is also fruity and mildly sour but still very easy to drink. Palate was smooth and aftertaste was very smooth and not dry at all.

Yum- a little sweet, but still gives a nice refreshing swig. It is one of my "regulars" for the fridge.

A very fruity beer with very aromatic flavors and smells. Not for everyone, but you’ll love it if you enjoy those flavors.

Very candy like fruit notes. Not enough hop and malt to balance things out. It is refreshing, though.

Pours yellow-orange with a fine white head. Aroma is thin with a light sweet, grainy aroma. Flavor is very sweet with really fruity qualities. Light and refreshing.
