As an APA it is very floral and a bit fruit-flavor oriented; I appreciate the subdued hop character -- none of that West-Coast headache-inducing hop resin stuff.
Appearance: Like sun tea with a lacy white head
Aroma: floral! I get hints of azalea and laurel blooms, maybe faint wild rose hips
Taste: the floral continues and flows into an apricot presence, with mild hops and a well-balanced malt. Very well done!
Palate: A tad bit watery on the finish, but otherwise hard to complain.
Overall: This one goes down easy and begs a second. It is absolutely stupendous with seafood -- low-country boil (potatoes, corn on the cob, crawfish, mussels, shrimp, andouille sausage) to be specific. djones (116), Michigan, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 9, 2008 I just bought the summer variety pack, and i actually found that all of them were quite watery. Number 9 in particular left a weird aftertaste, which leaves me to believe that i got a bad batch, but at the same time, all of the beer in the box was of lower quality. I don’t think i will be buying this, or any other beer from Magic Hat again. esjaygee (1519), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Pale yellow with next to no hat. Aroma of mild fruit and sweet malts. Taste is of more of the same wrapped up in a thin watery body that finishes a touch dry. Not much too this one. car2nwallaby (8), USA does not count | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 5, 2008 A light amber color, sourish aroma that predicts the slightly citrus, malty base that underlies a "mysterious" blend of spices. Overall nice flavor for a lowish middle abv beer. punkrkr27 (614), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2008 Clear gold pour with a 1 finger white head. Dried apricot aroma with slightly toasty bready malts and a touch of pine. Nutty toasty malt flavors hit the tongue first followed by some mildly sweet apricot and a moderate bitterness on the finish. Medium-thin body with soft carbonation. forestman22 (3), North Conway, New Hampshire, USA does not count | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2008 As has been said before on almost every post, Apricot. Its bitter and hopsy, the ind of hposy I associate with Magic Hat. I used to live in Vermont and drinking this beer reminds me of going to college over there and hanging out with some of my old good friends. Its got sentimental value for me. I gace it a 2.9 but if there was a rating for nostalgia, this bad boy would be up around a 4. Enjoy it. craftycarl21 (523), South Hero, Vermont, USA
