Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA May 6, 2008 Bottle, I have been drinking this since highschool and thought I had rated this it’s one of the most commonly liked decent beers out there. I know people who hate beer and like this stuff, that being said the nose is very fruity but almost artificial like smelling a package of gummy bears. The taste is very fruity with some malt hidden in there. Some strawberry, pear, raspberry and almost a hint of apricot. Very good. Ap - Poured a very clear golden amber. No head and little lacing.
Ar- A complex fruit smell, nothing like I was expecting from a pale ale.
F - Hops were very light and were largely hidden by the fruit. I thought I tasted raspberry in there but I did not see that on other reviews. Maybe a little strawberry also. Overall a decent, and surprising, taste.
P / O - Although I liked this beer I could not drink that many. It would be something I may order again, especially outside on a hot day.

Light aroma of sweet apricot. Taste is of pale malt. overall this is light, crisp, and refreshing. ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Apr 29, 2008 Appearance: Clear, yellow body with a small, fizzy, white head. Some splotchy lacing on the way down.
Smell: Light pale malt scent with some citrus and yes, even some apricot.
Taste: More of that light pale maltiness, somewhat grainy, and with a medium level of sweetness. Fruity citrus and apricot arrive simultaneously. Medium hop bitterness. Watery, lightly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. A tad watery.
Drinkability: The ladies flanking me at the bar really dug it. A true gulper, if only to get to the next beer. kieleszd (83), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Apr 27, 2008 Apricot, Apricot, Apricot oh how you taste look and smell. I’m not sure why your named nine but your a little flat but a suitable salut for the summer. If you like a little more fruit in your flute than #9 is a magic hat, but I’m straying away from this style. Dangle (31), Cullowhee, North Carolina, USA Apr 20, 2008 Golden color with a very fruity aroma. THe flavor is kinda sweet. All and all a good beer.
