COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Apricot flavouring
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Weak smell with hints of malt. At first taste the flavor flows through the mouth. Almost creamy nutty taste with no residual aftertaste. Floral taste toward end of bottle

1 pint 6 fl oz bottle. Dark golden, nearly amber in the glass, light unclear, small head. Dull apricot on the nose. Starts little bit dry fruity with low bitterness. Black tea and malt in the background. Not bad at the 86° F we have now and better than every iced soft drink. But nothin´ more.

Pours a clear orange yellow color with a small white head. Nose is caramel malt, toffee. Sweet caramel taste. Medium body. Ok

Fruity but odd. Fruity beet lovers will like it but I didn’t give it full makes because I prefer a darker after taste.

Fruity but crafty. Smooth. Refreshing peach pipe tobacco aroma. great color, looks like the color of a quality lager. fruity palate. It’s a magic hat of a beer! Cheers!

No aroma at all with average appearance on draft. Taste is clean with nutty flavors. Relatively neutral aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a golden color with white head. Some citrus and pine on the nose, but very faint; follows onto the palate. The taste really picks up some light fruit on the palate. Finishes with a hay like note.

On tap. Had this at a crappy, busy bar in New York, while standing up. Didn’t pay too much attention to it, but it was easy drinking, with hints of apricot and peach, maybe. Quite a watery mouth feel to it as well. It wasn’t bad or anything, just didn’t grab my attention.

This "ok" in a bottle. The first time I had it was on tap, and I liked it better. Not bad, not great.
