idbowman82 (62), Painesville, Ohio, USA Feb 16, 2008 Pours very hazy and amber/gold in color. Very little head that dissipates almost immediately. The aroma is pretty straightforward: hops and apricot. The taste is about the same...malty with apricot. There is virtually no depth, and there is so little malt/hop in the actual taste that I found myself thinking i was tasting dried apricots soaked in a low-concentration rubbing alcohol. Not enjoyable, and certainly not something I’d recommend. WickerBrew (312), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 13, 2008 This is great as long as you dont mind the sweetness. Not overly fruity so it is more than a novelty beer, but not to the point where I could drink it all the time. A nice change of pace, but its too smooth, I need something with a bit more of a kick. Palidor19 (1750), Brandon, Florida, USA Feb 12, 2008 it says its a fruit beer but it tastes like old fruit gum. astrigent tasting malts with unpleesant hops makes this undesirable emerson430 (87), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Feb 10, 2008 Nice amber color with a off white head that dissipates quickly. Interesting hop/apricot aroma that continues on to be present in the aftertaste. Interesting balance, sometimes a little floral for my taste, but still quite good. amateurBeerfan (24), Pennsylvania, USA Feb 9, 2008 A good sturdy fruity beer that has a good amber color and a nice fruit aftertaste. Apricot fruit, good mouthfeel
I hate fruit beers but this is something more.
good, affordable, available offering from magic hat rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Feb 7, 2008 Hazy Amber color with a small white head. Fruity aroma and taste with a peachy after taste hoppopotamus (182), Santa Cruz, California, USA Feb 7, 2008 Light brown with a white head that doesn’t last. Smells distinctly like some fruit I can’t put my finger on, maybe something in the peach/apricot/persimmon area. The flavor is sweet and fruity with some malt, finishes dry but no hop bitterness.
