Commercial Description:
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Pretty amber gold color. Quick vanishing head. Lot of fruit and some hop in the aroma. Nice fruit/apricot taste. Not too sweet or to sour. Something slightly off to me though. I want to say it tastes fake.

Not to fruity and ill-balanced, but still a good beer. Sweet flavor, but it lacks something. medium body.

This beer was an extreme let down. I had high hopes since I’ve heard great things but honestly the flavor was just lacking. the appearance is great and it is certainly appealing but the taste has that "commercial" lightness to it that I can’t stand. Also the fruitiness wasn’t balanced well at all.

The pour is yellow/amber with little white head. The nose is earthy and astringent, with subtle scents of apricot. The flavor is sweet, but not over-powerful, apricot is present here as well as touches of coriander.

Pours a clear amber and a bit yellowish. A good head with an average amount of carbonation. Get a strong smell of fruits and the taste it leaves is fruity as well. A good fall back ale.
