COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Beer Cloaked in Secrecy An ale whose mysterious and unusual palate will swirl across your tongue and ask more questions than it answers. A beer brewed clandestinely and given a name whose meaning is never revealed. Why #9? Why, indeed. A sort of dry, crisp, fruity, refreshing, not-quite pale ale. #9 is really impossible to describe because there’s never been anything else quite like it. Fermented with our 150 year old strain of top-fermenting English yeast.

Very crisp with a citrusy taste. Good beer when there are no other available selections.

A hazy golden beer with little head. Aroma was malty, & sour fruit. The taste is rmalty with a slightly sour finish. The best thing about this beer is the bottle.

Bottle. Light amber pour with an average sized, frothy white head. Yeasty, sweet citrus aroma. Initial dry, bready flavor turns slightly sweet with subtle hints of apricot, apple and flowers. Watery texture and soft carbonation. Smooth, refreshing and easy drinking.

Bottle. 12 oz. Pours hazy orange with a pungent white head. Aroma of ctirus, apricots, raisins, and bubble gum. Medium body with a smooth, crisp finish. I usually dislike fruit beers, but this is a well executed apricot brew. Very good offering from Magic Hat.

Bottle. Cloudy golden color, white frothy head that goes away quickly. aroma of apricot, peaches, apples - fruity - with a touch of hops. Smells almost like a cider. Flavors come in quick, short bursts all overpowered by the sweet, tart apricot. A tiny bit of hop at the end, followed by a strange tangy aftertaste. The mouth feel reminds me of champagne - tickling the tongue then dry.

12 oz bottle served in a pilsner glass. Pour was slightly clouded golden color with about 2 fingers of foamy white head. Nose was triscuits, apricots, and yeast. Taste is very similar to the smell, and it has a nice, lightly sweet, bitter apricot finish. This is a very drinkable beer that is very good during warmer months. Not outstanding in any category, but a very refreshing oddity.

12 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured transparent orange yellow color, medium carbonation, frothy white head half finger head sat still upont the liquid surface, nice lacing. Aroma of raspberries, sweet peaches, and yeast. Hits the mouth with a low body, malt is light but many various notes of fruit (mentioned previously), middle holds up fine, finish is clean and dry. Not too shabby.
